  • How to Contact GM for a Club/Venue. Any Help is appreciated!

I'm looking to get an appointment with a GM of a club. I have a company looking to utilize some new ideas/programs. VIP Host, GM all could/would have availability for options ($$) in this company. Huge investor on board, just need to run the concept by a GM to understand the principle usage for this.

    HELP!

You would have better luck reaching out to someone on the marketing end.

Yeah, I just want to have some type of decision maker see this program. A Vip Guy (Not marketing) is going to just pass the info along. I have contact a couple of the management firms (Angel, Tao Group, Light, etc) and waiting to hear back. This program is going to go 2 ways, working with the clubs directly, or open it up to the Host. Either way...someone needs to see this!

Honestly, I've received probably 300 vague e-mails over the years from people blindly asking for my contacts in the nightlife industry for their business concept. I'm the first person to want to help connect people when it makes sense and is beneficial to the person I'm connecting you to, but "hey give me your contacts" is totally the wrong approach.

Regardless of who you are trying to get to, you need to put together a brief summary of what you are working on, who is involved and what you're missing. Likely it isn't the GM of the clubs you are needing, but we don't know enough about it to assist you.

Dude, I got this bridge. It's in Alaska. I swear there's a sweet nightclub at one end of it. Just give me Steve Wynn's number, and we can connect this thing to the mainland.

My suggestion would be to also use LinkedIn to find the people you are specifically looking for by company, venue, etc.

Congrats on the business venture, but I laughed as well considering that came after a sincere reply with an explanation of exactly why others may be reluctant to help from someone who I assume may have some insight on the matter.
