Becoming an VIP Host or staying an Independent host? Why or Why Not!

I have an opportunity to become a host at top 10 club in vegas, but also have to rid myself of my independent status? What to do. Can anyone tell me what way is better. Independent is more % up front, but at a club is more secure. Any pros & cons to this would be HUGE! Drinks on me!
