  • Need some creative suggestions for Aug 2-3rd

Hello, I am new to this forum, but you guys seem to have all the answers.

We are heading up with a rather large group. 21 to be exact. 12 males, 9 females. 14 of those willing to split bottle service, 6 do not. We want to go out Friday night and get bottle service. Saturday we want to go to Wet Republic or Marquee Dayclub (no bottle service) and Saturday we want to go to Marquee nightclub (kaskade) and get bottle service. So not sure how that would work, not sure how to approach it but your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking that the friends of ours that are not pitching in for bottle service can buy tickets and come in with our host, and the rest of us to the table. What is the min number of bottles they would make us buy with 14 people in our group? We are figuring to spend roughly 200-250 per person for the 14 pitching in for bottle service. I want to know if we are being realistic at that amount? Should we hire an independent host to do the work for us? What are you thoughts?

    1. Don't hire an indy host...you'll probably over-pay. Contact Cliff Orr for Marquee
    2. Those buying presales can just go through the presale line and catch up with you later at the table. Best way to go for those not chipping in on the table. However, 21 people at table you'll get with a $2500 min won't happen...there won't be enough space.
    3. 14 people will start at 5 bottles...or about $2500 minimum. With all tips and tax you're looking at about $4,000 total ($285/person)
    4. $2500 min will land you outside at Marquee with Kaskade...which is probably a good thing given your group size.

I would prepare everyone for $300/person split for bottle service. If you can get it a little lower, awesome, but budget for $300/person.

Where do you want to go Friday night?
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

      Ben-
Couple of ways to approach it creatively- generally
      1. Generally for tables its 1 bottle for three people so you could get a table that seats (roughly)
      6, 1000 minimum spend + 28-38% tax-tip-(let)
      9, 1500 minimum + 28-38% tax-tip-(let)
      12, 2000 minimum + 28-38% tax-tip-(let)
      15, 2500 minimum + 28-38% tax-tip-(let)
you could mix it up based on your budget with table size and presale tickets.
Also keep in mind table location! Low minimums are generally further from the dance floor/ outside the main room.
      2. On Friday's and Saturday's it might be hard but you could try to get all 9 girls guestlisted as a group. If the girls get in free- the guys would be able to figure out table spend vs presale mix.
      3. Also keep in mind girls presales are cheaper then guys. For example Kaskade 8/3 all 9 girls can do presales $30x9= $270. Then you just got to find a table/ presale mix for the guys.

      Have fun!

Thanks for the replies, Chuck you were right I think about the indy host vs the house host. For Saturday Night at the Marquee for Kaskade, indy host offer is: $1500 plus tax, tip & let total $2700, gets 10 people in with 3 bottles outside patio. The house host told me $2000 min, plus tax, tip & let +38%, i am figuring $2760, but he can get 15 ppl in and 4 bottles. Didnt tell me where but I am figuring outside. I like the extra bottle and extra heads. I am trying to see if he can get my 3 remaining guests in for free on his guestlist, but thats still up in the air. How do I contact Chris Orr? His contact info is not on this websites direct hosts page.

If I book with the house host, how do I trust that its a solid reservation? The indy host gauranteed a written contract and smoothness all the way through.

For the day, I guess we really want to go to Wet Republic. I know we cannot afford a daybed even, I was quoted like $3000 for that to start, so whats the best way to get in? Buy pre sale tickets for all my guests, and then tip the host to get us passed the line or pay the host to get us all in directly? The indy host is marking the tickets up $20-$50 bucks a ticket, I do not know what the indy host will tell me. Who is the best host to call at Wet Republic?

I am flying in Saturday now, so Friday if my friends want to go out, I am going to suggest Moon or Tryst, where the bottle service is much less. (I think)

Cliff Orr is the man you have nothing to worry about. As long as you arrive at a reasonable time he will come through.
