Never been to vegas for a fight before so I have a few questions for people who know/have been..

They won't show the fight anywhere besides the closed circuit TV viewings at Mandalay Bay and MGM, right?

And I also heard that they block the PPV in your room, so you can't order it and party in the room..

Leaning towards getting CCTV tickets at Mandalay Bay so we aren't stuck in a huge taxi line trying to leave MGM if we are going clubbing somewhere other than Hakk after.. i'm assuming if we do go to Hakk getting to MGM won't be a problem?

When I was there for Mayweather/Ortiz, I was able to watch it at Revolution in the Mirage. I think the cover was like $50. Every TV in the place had the fight on. Not sure if they still show the fights though since that was a couple years back.

Why leave Mandalay Bay then?? Go straight to Light Nightclub inside Mandalay Bay.

a lot of places show the fight but the cover/minimums varies widely
Some local places or freemont street bars might do free/low minimum. For example $25 food/beverage minimum- which is different then paying $50 just to get into a place.

Definitely hitting up LIGHT again this trip..its awesome (pretty much the whole reason i'm going back).. but unsure of Fri/Sat night waiting for the lineups to come out (still way early).

artedm - thanks for the info, I wasn't sure whether to wait it out or buy tickets to the CCTV before it sells out. a min spend would be better than paying ($111 x 7) just to get in.

Usually for UFCs my friends and I chip in for a suite and stream the fight from a laptop on to the TV. MLife properties have the option to buy extra bandwidth so you should be able to get a nice HD stream. In my experience those watch parties are a rip off. Most of the people in there are gamblers that got free tickets.

Anyone know if only MGM properties block the PPV? Could you order it via showtime from Cosmo? I don't see why not..
