  • Tryst on a Fri of July 4th weekend

First post on this great forum. I go to Vegas 4 or 5 times a year (from DC) and have been to all the newer spots. I am considering checking out Tryst this Fri for a few reasons: 1) I am going with my GF and another couple and this spot should be less crazy than others (but my hope is not too tame, hence the question below) 2) The bottle minimums are low 3) The folks I'm going with don't appreciate EDM as much as I do and apparently DJ Spider plays a good mix of everything 4) I've been many years ago and the club was fun and nice enough, but then again its been years since I've been back

Do you think Tryst this Fri on a July 4th holiday weekend will be decent enough? Worth getting a table (or will it not be necessary since it may not be too crowded)? Any other suggestions for places on a Fri night that would play a variety of music and still be relatively affordable (I know people are high on 1Oak)?

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions!

Hah, pretty much what I was going to ask. I've been going to Tryst pretty much since it opened and have never failed to have a good time there. I'd love to try one of the newer clubs, but I just can do an entire night of EDM and am getting a little old (not terribly) to be around the younger crowds the newer clubs are attracting (unless you have big dough for tables).

I've been to 1Oak and it was cool but if not Tryst (where I know what to expect) what would be another good spot? Open format (top 40/hip hop) with a good crowd mix and still a pretty good place. Used to do bottle service 6-7 times a year in Vegas but as I'm nearing the big 4-0 (still a few years away) I can't do it like I used to. But, this weekend me and one of my best friends have reason to celebrate and I want to make sure we do it right.

As to original question, I don't think you can ever go wrong at Tryst.
