Let's say you have a group of 7 folks... cabs cap it at 4. So moving the group around will require two cabs to get anywhere.
I've read on the forum about how most nicer hotels will have limos outside for little to no wait (vs cabs) if you just ask the taxi stand operator. I just have a couple questions...
1) part of the benefit of a limo is less wait during busy cab-stand times. Do you still have to wait in the taxi stand line?
2) What is the going rate for a limo for point to point? Say half or all the way down the strip? What about from Palms (where we're staying) to the bellagio (for example? Some discussion on here said they're usually $40... another said it's $70. Can anyone firm up a price range for this?
3) Is the standard cab 15-20% tip range acceptable for limos as well?
4) Do limo services like Presidential offer point to point on call (ie call them and say "meet us outside in 30 mins') and they'll be there to transport you? Would you need to pay a full half hour rental or so in that case?
Thanks in advance guys.
