I'm the opposite. I loved Fremont. The Strip has become so commercial that walking down Fremont felt like what Vegas was suppossed to be. It isn't worth a whole night mind you, but head down there for a pre-game and you'll have a good time

When we were there in October ended upstairs in the dance club at Golden Nugget due to the outside bar looking over Fremont Street had EDM seriously going on and the main club was open format. Got in for free with some passes they were giving out with a buddy of mine, my fiance and her friend. All I know is we rolled back to our rooms at Harrah's at 6 am via cab and fiance couldn't comprehend why McD's doesn't serve double cheeseburgers at that time when we entered to get the drunk eat on.

Needless to say next month many in our group of 20 will be enjoying the cheap drinks and gambling one of the nights while there.

The Las Vegas Club down at the end on the right that had $1 drafts and $3 top shelf that started that blurry evening. They also have for $2 for a Coors draft and a hot dog. Mermaids, right next door has deep fried twinkies and oreos. I believe for $1. So you can go on the cheap and have a ballgame meal and desert for $5 without tip. Of course a defibilator may be required after.

Second that, I got hustled like a mother fucker there. Even as far as them forging forms and claiming they have videos of me agreeing to certain charges.

Golden Goose/Glitter Gulch - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I'll 3rd the glitter gulch comment. They make everyone pay a 2 drink minimum which ends up being $20+ for 2 tiny drinks. One of the girls knocked my friends drink over with her tits. Girls are not easy on the eyes. Couldn't have got out of there fast enough.

If you want to get messed up fast and for relatively cheap, play some slots at La Bayou. Place is so small, you'll have drinks lined up.

Had bottle service there on Saturday and it was AWESOME! Drinks were moderately priced, surprised me how many girls go there. There is definitely something for everyone where, decent music too.
