  • What to do on Fremont

It will be Vegas trip #6 for me next weekend and I've never been on Fremont street. Does it worth going for an evening ? Any suggestions on what to do or where to go on Fremont ?

I personally like Fremont St. Cheap cheap gambling, cheap bars if you dont gamble, cool light show, Zip line, street vendors and you can hit 6 casinos without having to walk a mile from door to door.

The 99 cent shrimp cocktail is down there (at the Fremont I think). Like marcus said, cheap drinking and cheap gambling.

Vic&Anthony's is a great old school steakhouse in the Golden Nugget. Highly recommend it.

We usually plan one whole night for Fremont. Think of it as a rowdy outdoor college party and youll be fine. Start at the Plaza hotel and work our way to Fremont East district. The Golden Nugget has some legit restaurants, and that cool Shark tank pool with a night jacuzzi lounge party behind it! Fremont East district has some cool bars, like Insert Coins arcade for your EDM needs, and the Griffin is more of a dungeon goth rock bar. If I'm still semi-concious we grab a cab to an afterhours spot or Peppermill for some grub before back to the main strip

They have some really big restaurants and bars popping up in Freemont. And as stated, cheap table mins can really stretch your money

Went last September, and a friend of mine lives in the downtown area - if you're looking for a chill area compared to the club scene on the strip, it's a pretty good experience. The Fremont Street Experience is a good thing to catch if you're planning on being down there.

Just south of the Fremont Street Experience are a bunch of bars, each with its own identity:

Insert Coins - an arcade bar, where there are Xboxes, arcade machines, couches ... kinda like a man cave, I suppose.
Don't Tell Mama - piano bar with some good live performers

I love the Fremont st east bars. Downtown cocktail lounge, griffin, beauty bar, vanguard are all great spots with a chill vibe. Definitely a more bohemian, eclectic experience, but for me, a welcome respite from the strip madness once a trip.
