EDC Weekend - Where to go Thursday and Saturday Night?

    EDC Weekend - Where to go Thursday and Saturday Night?

    will be in vegas EDC weekend. (only going to EDC on Fri and Sunday.) i havent been to good ole LV in a year so hakkasan and light are new to me. my preference is the best party to go to

    so..where to go thursday night? saturday night?

    thursday lineup:
    - Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand – Hardwell with Dannic and Dyro (Revealed Records Label Party)
    - LAVO Nightclub at The Palazzo – Dirtybird Presents: Claude VonStroke, Cajmere, Justin Martin & J Phlip
    - Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino – Nicky Romero with Don Diablo and Stafford Brothers
    - Ling Ling Club at Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand – Michael Woods
    - Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas – Avicii and Helena
    - Surrender Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas – Splash Dance with Dirty South
    - TAO Nightclub at The Venetian – Dash Berlin and ATB
    - Tryst Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas – Rusko


    saturday lineup:

    Depends if you're bothered about which DJ's are playing. I think Hakkasan is sold out on Thursday.

            LAVO also has a great lineup both days.
            EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

                  Depends if your host has pull at that venue specifically and how busy it is that night. Considering the female presales jumped too in pricing this morning I would rather be safe than sorry. $40+waiting 5 minutes & a sure thing vs your host not being able to pull through and you have to line up in the 1/2 mile long G/A line... I would consult with your host specifically and see what he/she says.

                  EDC weekend has become bigger than MDW weekend as far as occupancy so it's not a weekend to wing it IMO.

                        avicii at marquee is a good bet for thurs. for sat night zedd/bauer at light or calvin harris/m. woods at hak - personally i liked hak better.

                            I did GA for both - I thought the lighting at Light (ironically) was a bit too dark. No outdoors at either which I think puts it behind XS (at least I dont think there is an outdoors for Light). Also Hak has the Ling Ling room and just seems a lot bigger.
