Confused/Newbie.. about table/bottle service

I need someone to clear this up for me please I'm a newbie and recently turned 21. and clubs here don't run at all like vegas

If I get this right..
a Table/bottle service is the same thing?
But why would one want to order a full bottle of something from the bar but not have their drinks made?(or do that do that too?) Personally, when I'm drunk I don't want to make the drinks lol. Shots are good, but sometimes I just want to have a mixed drink most of the time.

How many people in your group? You can work out a rough estimate

At the moment there would be 8 of us total. Maybe more... Hopefully not less.

For 8 people, on an Industry Night (not friday or saturday) you can get started with bottle service for around $1,000 everything included. So if everyone can save up at least $150 to chip in you can do it. If I were you, I'd tell everyone to shoot for $200/person.
That will open up some options for you.

Bottle service is a fickle beast.

First you walk out of your room and go to the ground floor. There will be a man who opens the door to let you out. Tip him $5. Then there will be a cab line... walk past that crap to the guy at the front and tip him $20. He will put you in a cab. Tell the cabbie your destination. If you arrive safe and his cab didn't reek of onions, curry, or feces, tip him 20% of your fare. When you walk up to the door, again, tip the guy $5 who opens it for you. In fact, tip everyone who opens a door for you. Sometimes it's fun to walk back and forth through a door for a while, tipping the guy each time, of course.

Once you get to the club, you will text your host and he will meet you at the ropes. AT this point you'll tip him about $200 for your party. He'll walk you into the club (skipping the line populated by unwashed masses) and you will go to your table. Here you will meet your busser (Tip him 20-40 bucks), your security (tip him 40-60 bucks), your waitress (you'll be tipping her about $200 later), and some random guys who just want to get in on the tipping train. I'd not give them more than $20 each.

At some point you'll start feeling like this:

I can honestly say it has never really crossed my mind to ever tip anyone who opens a door. I would agree with all his other tipping parts. I usually do a limo and skip the taxi especially if you have a group of 8 since you cant all fit in a taxi. It ends up being the same especially if you are going to tip $20 to cut in line when most of the time the limo line has little to no one in it except on holiday weekends.

Sorry I thought that part of my post was evident as satire. Forgive me... yeah... you don't give folks $5 every time they open a door. That was just a playful jab at how tip-centric Vegas culture likely seems to a newbie.

And yes... for 8 guys a limo might be a little more than 2 cabs but will be worth it for the shorter line and confort factor.

funny but so true...there does come a point where I'm just tired of tippin everyone for every damn thing!
