  • Light GA Question

Planning on heading to Light on June 8 with my gf (first time ever bring a girl to vegas btw) to see Thomas Gold and I was wondering if buying the GA tickets in advance online is a good deal. They are only like $70 total for the two if us which is reasonable but does that get us in the door relatively quickly or are we stuck waiting in the normal GA line with people who just show up that night? Usually I either get a table with friends or have a local hookup so this whole tickets in advance thing is new to me.

    Thanks for any advice!

It goes like this Bottle Service >>>>>> Presale >>> GA. Always better to get presale IMO.

Presales with somewhat early arrival are always the way to go for no wait

Yup presales is the best option for a couple. Could always contact a host for walk-ins and put that 50-60 towards their tip but it's up to you

This was my only real negative about the place, I went Fri and Sat. (Luckily, I know the big dawgs who were mainly at the podium and walked myself /table clients in without waiting in table line). The guys running the lines seemed like they didn't know what was going on. This is mainly the table side. I had girl groups that got in no problem in the GL line but I had all of them arrive at 10pm sharp and they did. Anyone else that I knew who came GA at 11pm or later were F'd, I mean that place got full fast. Buddies w/ presale still had to tip their way to cut, this was 1130 ish. Get there 10pm and you should be fine. I know they will work out the kinks but presales should be fine. Remember, that presale/table, none of that matters if the club hits capacity....

Bottom line I should be good at a Marquee or Light as long as I get there at 10 and tip way in correct? Or should I also do this pre-sale stuff-which I have never done. That kinda scares me cause I like going with the flow a little and don't wanna get locke din somewhere if I run into something else at 8 or something.

Pre-Sale should be done after you know the lineups (DJ), that way you know what to expect and it kinda keeps you motivated and on time for that 10 oclock line appearance. Your risk goes up depending only on a handshake tip you never know what attitudes and issues you might have to deal with...Pre-sale even my ugly ass gets in

if you defnitely know you are coming, and you know you are doing GA, then do presale. that line moves as quick as we can get people ID'd and get the ticket scanned. regular GA is a slow process because we have so many presales, and we also know that we will hit capacity at some point, so the normal GA is like a slow dripping faucet, we just can't let too many people in that way at this time.

Hey traveling from Sydney to Vegas for the 1st time in July. Staying at Mandalay Bay with my girlfriend and wanted to check out Light on Sat 6th July. Is it worth getting bottle service for just the two of us (what is the min $$ and what would we get) at Light or should we just get GA tickets and buy drinks from the bar? This whole bottle service in new to us and any advice would be appreciated.

On a Saturday, I reckon $1k minimum, meaning roughly $1500 all-inclusive. Not cheap mate.

The problem is there aren't "2 person" tables, so they need to charge for the real estate rather than on a per person basis - otherwise they're losing potential revenue.

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Thanks for the advice, a bit to expensive for just the two of us. If we get pre sale GA tickets are the bar lines crazy or is it pretty easy to get drinks all night? Also is there anywhere to sit at light if you don't get bottle service?

Feedback so far is that the bars are big and move quicker than most LV clubs.

You can't (really) sit down in any club without table service - it's just the vegas way.
