Vegas nightlife newbie help

Hi All

Me and my sister are hitting vegas from 10-22 june from the uk and im just after some advice of how the night clubs and tickets/guest lists work, do we need to pre-book tickets before we arrive to save queuing too long or do you pay on entry, which is the best option or would I be better off contacting hosts directly? We are planning on hitting xs, 1oak, tryst, pure and daylight any advice would be much appreciated

I suggest contacting a host for each and asking them to put your sister on their guest list and $50 for walking you in with her.
They may offer to put you both on the guest list, but if you pay $50 for yourself and she is free that's still less than buying presales
for both of you and will probably get you in a little quicker.

Make sure and mention you are a JC forum member. They always take care of forum members
Do keep in mind though...if there is a big name DJ then sometimes they won't be allowed to do guest list and you will need to buy presales. Contact them after DJ's are announced for your dates at each venue you want to go to.

Are you both girls?
If its just two girls you can probably get in free most places if you contact hosts.

1. dates matter-in the sense of whats going on in vegas generally- for example Electric Daisy Carnival is June 21, 22, 23
edc is a yearly event which attracts over 120,000 people to vegas
2. look at all club lineups to get a sense of talent and cover charges

On GA-paying night off/host guestlist/presales
Ga is usually always a disaster-long lines and the entry price can move around.
Host guestlist- can be free but requires some work- finding a host, getting on the guestlist, seeing if they are going to be at club the night your going, keeping there number in case you show up and are not on the guestlist. Also the guestlist line can sometimes be slow moving because it helps the club look.
Presale for girls is probably around $20 each depending on the day/event but you just show up and usually always a faster line then guestlist or ga.


You might think about side trips like a bus tour to the grand canyon or going to los angeles during the week if you want a change of scenery.

Hey guys yeah we are both girls 23 and 28 you have both been really helpful and I really appreciate it thank you so much am going to fire off a couple of emails to the hosts and go from there a few of my friends have said not to worry about it being girls but could think of nothing worse than getting there and having problems am so excited about the trip thank you again

Yeah with two girls all you have to do is dress to impress and accessorize with a great attitude and you'll be in great shape.
Never hurts to have a few contacts in your phone though.
