Dress for the club in summer

Going to be in Vegas this June, when it'll be crazy hot. For the top nightclubs are guys expected to still show up in long sleeve button-ups, long pants, dress shoes? Wouldn't you be sweating like Shaq throughout the night? Not so much in the club per se as the AC will be cranked, but getting there, switching places, etc. might be some sweaty ass dudes. Would think a nice short sleeved button-up with light jeans and dress shoes would be adequate, on vacation so would like to be comfortable but not so much that we're turned away.

You should be okay. I usually wear a short sleeve button up with a nice skinny tie, slacks or nice jeans, and decent looking shoes. There's a while thread about shoes somewhere on these boards. Just be smart and try not to look trashy, and I'm sure you'll be okay!

Alright, so basically if your short sleeve option is in-style, fitted etc. you should be alright. But if you're not sure if your style fits the bill, play it safe with long-sleeved.

You don't really have to be so vanilla anymore. They can tell styles. The main style to avoid is a very casual urban baggy look in my opinion. You can even wear T's at most places no prob at all. Only place I had an issue which was over a year ago was Marquee on a Sat. It's more of an overall style.
