Thursday May 16th Missy Elliot @ Haze or MAKJ @ Tryst??

My friends can't seem to make up their mind of where to go that night. Any suggestions?? Definitely looking for more open format then EDM.

I don't know much about MAKJ, but DJ Que is the DJ on Thursdays at Haze and is one of the best open format DJ's in Vegas.

The potential downside, depending on your perspective, is Missy Elliott will likely bring out the ratchets.

Haze for sure between these two. Any kind of special performer on Thursday at either will be the main open format spot. Your money may go farther at Tryst that night. I would not go to Haze GA that night or without a table either on glass upstairs 72-78, or anything in main room. She is still a little more mainstream but the crowd will def be diverse/urban in the GA area, but table area will always be a good look as they strategically will place the hot chicks there.

We were definitely going to do BS service at either place. We did seem to get a solid deal at Tryst, but we're just worried about the music mix. I couldn't find much on MAKJ but it seems he plays more EDM.

Haze will be more open format and lean a little more urban style musically with popular top 40 dance. Tryst you will prob get a great deal. For Haze, don't even do 1 bottle, you will get a shit spot. If you can do 2 that will get you on the glass upstairs overlooking club and good view of performance. downstairs maybe 2 bottles but def 3. You want table on mezz , 23-26 (25 usually starts as girl table so get 24 or 26 if poss), 11-13 to be close to DJ or 30-36 for best views straight on.

MakJ's set will probably be 60/40 EDM/Top40 with mashups. Another forum member saw him last week and said he did just this and it was a damn good set. Right now there are a few groups from the forums with tables at Tryst that night.
