Wed 29th May - Surrender vs Eclipse

Was all geared up for Surrender with Fedde Le Grand and Morgan Page on Wednesday im in vegas

We like EDM, people seem to rate the club highly, and due too other options looking poor (LAX industry) it looked like a no brainer.

Ive just seen that Eclipse is on that night also, with Thomas Gold dj-ing. Is this some kind of night time pool party at the new Daylight place?

Being as its just opened is this going to leave Surrender dead? Should i be changing up?

I doubt Surrender will be dead. Honestly, any answers given is pure speculation until Eclipse actually opens. But Ill go ahead and speculate, and say it should be as good or better since it will have just opened.

Eclipse is daylight's nighttime pool party- they open on 5/22 so it will be very new

Eclipse is advertising free admission for locals till midnight- not sure of surrenders policy but free is always a draw

another thing to keep in mind is daylight looks like its all outdoors and surrender has inside and outside.
at surrender the dj is inside

also XS added afrojack on 5/27- I know your just getting in but I wouldn't miss xs on monday night- might be the best night of week

so even if the eclipse buzz /free admission for locals wins the bigger crowd, we dont think Surrender will be absolutely dead

Im really quite keen on Surrender, the setup looks perfect for us, i just dont want to take my friends to a dead night at a good club lol.

Artedm - i am tempted by the Monday night, presale tickets are only $35. We step off the plane from the UK at about 3pm. Its my first time in Vegas and will be buzzing. Rather than have pre made plans i was thinking we would spill out onto strip that night and soak it all in.

I know MDW is a massive deal so we wouldnt be able to get GA anywhere good, but i thought we'd stick to bars rather than a club

if this helps you plan- xs will open around 11pm steve angello is likely to start around 1am and afrojack maybe 3am and go till the sun comes up.
so you could have a lot of time looking around the strip.
Its the final MDW party and you should see xs during your trip+ its only $35.

Eclipse is modeled after Ushuaia in Ibiza Spain. Google "Ushuaia party" and watch some youtube videos to get a better understanding.

Most Ibiza clubs with pools in dont seem to be in use these days (such as last time i was at Privilege). Apart from the water party at es paradis but thats a bit different

presales have a separate line from General admission

normally that would be late but its a monday and the outside will be open so it would "probably" work

I'm almost certain the pool will be open. Just like night swim. Don't see why they would close it honestly.
