Is it possible to book tables before you even go to a club and pay for it before you even show up? what are the pros and cons of this?

You can always book in advance, that's very common. Prepaying for your table is not as common unless you're using a 3rd party VIP company. They will often pre-buy blocks of tables then resell them to people for a profit. Unless you're doing a $10,000 minimum there really isn't any reason to pre-pay your table. That said, sometimes the clubs will require pre-payment on big holiday weekends.Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.
