  • XS Fri/Sat nights

I am waiting for the DJ line-ups to be announced before committing to which night. Couls anyone give me ballpark minimum spends for inside tables at XS, especially tier 2 and tier 3 tables as opposed to dancefloor tables (as I think we'll be priced out of those!).

We are a group of 6 guys and it will be for the weekend of 14th/15th June.

If anyone has any recent quotes/experiences of any specific tables etc that would be great also.

    Many thanks.

JC member OCAM has since provided me with a host's email address.

In any event I would still be grateful for any views on recent experiences at XS or table preferences etc.

    Thanks

inside tables, entry level, which is backwall...3k with a 500 handshake is my experience.

Wow - thank you for your reply!! Didn't realise they'd start off so expensive!!

Might be a case of back to the drawing board!!

          what is your budget?

it might be more cost effective (like 1500-2k range) to be on the patio just outside to the left of the DJ booth (900 tables i think)

I'd say you can swing backwall for less than that.

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

actually you're probably right. just realised he only has 6 people where we've got 10.

I was told basically say they won't guarantee an inside location unless you commit to 3k min. I know we'll smash that at XS so just went with it given we plan for it to be our biggest night.

                Thanks for all your inputs.
Our budget will be anywhere between 2.5K - 4.5K depending on whether we choose XS for the Fri or Sat and that will be determined by the DJ line-ups(hoping they'll be released soon!?).

If you were quoted 3K+handshake for back wall booths I'd be intrigued at how much more one would have to pay for the next tier being closer to the DJ/dancefloor?

                Thanks!!

Could someone clarify the % of tax, LET(if applicable)+auto gratuity applicable to VIP table reservations at XS.
I see some clubs are nearer the 30% mark whilst a couple appear to be nearer the 40%?
                  thanks

LET is not payable at XS.

Sales tax should be 8.1% and auto-gratuity of 20%

OCAM - thanks for this. Good news in that I was expecting it to be nearer the 40%!

Does XS do auto-grat now? They didn't for a long time.

Pretty sure it's been like that at least for a couple years ????

To be fair, last time I was there was Fall 2011. But they definitely didn't have auto-grat that trip. I actually didn't write in a tip because I thought it was automatic, and didn't notice it hadn't been added (had a few drinks in me). The waitress came back with security and demanded a tip or they were going to kick us out. It was an honest mistake, I gave her 20%, and it was fine. She even told me they were the only club that didn't do auto-grat, and people forgot to write one in all the time.
