  • Number of guys per table

I've never had this problem before but our group for the next trip seems to be growing uncontrolllably! At what point will the clubs say we have too many guys and we need to get a second table along with a second minimum spend? Has anyone had this issue before? We started at 12-14 and it's looking like we may somehow end up passing 16... I'm sure clubs just love crap loads of sausage together by the dancefloor.

    Thanks for the help!

We can help you with some pre recon before you book. There are some booths at several clubs that will fit 16 guys. For instance XS 2nd tier, 1Oak behind DJ, Haze Mezz Booths, Hyde has some DF that are big, Tryst has those huge 2nd tiers... so depends on the club and the min to properly arrange. Layout the clubs you're doing and we can assess how to play it. We can give you a few table numbers that would work as 1 table or a section that has two good side by sides. For Pools, all the cabanas fine, I know EBC's are huge, Marquee's should work, Liquid's are big, Tao, etc.. .

Hey Isaac, here's what we're looking at:

Thurs: Tryst most likely/last minute decision (smaller group of whoever shows up in town early - size not an issue)
      Fri. pool: Marquee grand cabana
      Fri. night: Hakassan
      Sat. pool: Marquee grand cabana
      Sat. night: Marquee

I guess my worry is that if we get up to 18+ guys we might get pushed back from our tables close to the dancefloor so I'd rather plan ahead if that's the case and for example, book a skybox at Hakk or something like that if they can even fit that many people.

      Thanks again

I should also ask whether one of the grand cabanas will be large enough for that many guys or whether we might need two...

Great - thanks Noah. I'll see what I can do to get the # trimmed back a bit or at least plan ahead to request that table at Marquee.

What nights are you at Haze by the way?

[QUOTE=NoahRam;213067]Marquee grand cabanas 3k Friday, 5-6k Saturday for dayclub. generally is meant to fit 15 people. for 18 expect to get quoted the 6k on saturday. for nightclub at marquee you're looking at 3k+ for patio/maybe salon bar inside corner by bathroom. for anything main room you'll most likely be asked to buy 2 tables next to each other (18guys is way too much for most marquee tables other then table 20 which is probly 4k for that group). Hakkasan you're looking at 3k+ and it'd be balcony/mezzanine most likely.[/QUOTE

Noah has it dialed in, he knows Marquee. Hakkasan, we had a booth on top level looking down on DF, we rolled about 15-20 deep and it fit, not perfect but ok. But, way way out of the action. I'd imagine 5k-7500 for one of the larger booths in the main area lower level. Those booths looked pretty big to me. Tryst they do have the Industry special and lower bottle prices. I think a budget of 1k for everything is good for a smaller group 5-7 doing two goose specials at least

Haze, me? I'm now at Liquid full time, I pull double shifts and work Haze for special events and weekends. Thursday is the Industry Night there so that's the best day for bottle deals and open format hip/hop.
