My girlfriends and I all loved Hyde and it was our go to for the past few years. Now that it’s closed we need a spot for our trip this coming May. We liked Hyde for its smaller size as well as the music played there. What’s our best options for a mix of older and new hip hop? Tao? Chateau? On the Record?

I'd say probably Drais. 1Oak is closing soon I think. Drais is probably your best bet for hip hop and the vibe you are looking for. -

I enjoyed Hyde as well... will miss it (RIP).
I also enjoyed On The Record last year for similar qualities and will likely be heading back to it in April. However it also depends on the day of the week.
