Thursday EBC at Night Reviews

Hi all,

Just looking into what nights we want to get booked up in the first week of June and seen the night swim at EBC on the Thursday with a pretty good deal. Does anyone have experience of this night and whether it's worth going to? Just unsure how busy this will be on the Thursday, DJ hasn't been announced as yet.

Any info would help, thanks.

I go to EBC Nightswim every Thursday I'm in Vegas. From what I've seen turnout mostly depends on the weather, more than the DJ. There aren't a whole lot of better Thursday options with Omnia only having the terrace open, and Hakkasan being so GA unfriendly, so unless the weather isn't great I think EBC Nightswim ends up with a good crowd. I've been when it's slow on cooler days in May and September, but when I've gone in July it was absolutely busy. I'd say the first week of June should be great, as long at it's an average to above average temperature day.

We were wondering about EBC for Thursday night too. Can I ask why Kakkasan isn’t an option for you? Only as it ll help me choose between the two options! Thanks

Hakkasan is great if you have a table, but otherwise the venue isn't particularly welcoming. There's no outside area, and besides the dance floor which gets extremely packed, pretty much all the other areas are walkways that bouncers will shuffle you through, leaving very few places to just exist. XS, Marquee, Tao, Omnia, and now KAOS all have an outside area to get some fresh air and take a break, so Hakkasan's complete lack of space set aside for that was just a poor decision from the start.

You previously posted about Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, when exactly are you going on this trip?

Our girls trip is Monday 10th June until the Saturday!

I thought I only needed advice on Monday till weds night clinic but like looks like it ll be helpful to get advice for the Friday and Thursday nights too!!

We are newbies to Vegas and really want to plan just the club part of the trip to hit the best clubs!

Any advice now on the Thursday and Friday would be brilliant?!

Awesome that you are going for a longer trip as your first Vegas experience.

With the increased length of your trip I'd probably go with Omnia on Tuesday instead of Drai's Nightswim, since you have both Thursday night and Friday day for pool parties and Omnia on Tuesday usually has a better DJ and turnout than Drai's.

For Monday I'd usually recommend Dive in Movies at the Cosmopolitan before going to Marquee. It's an outdoor movie screening on their main pool deck. That specific night it's the movie Jaws though, so not sure if that'd work particularly well for a group of girls. Cool thing is you can rent a daybed or a bungalow for an extremely reasonable $50-$100 food and beverage minimum, one of the best deals in town.

Before Going to Your Hotel: Alcohol from Total Wine, Cannabis from a Dispensary
After Going to Your Hotel: Amazon Prime Now Delivery of water, mixer, and anything else you forgot to bring
Classic Attractions: Bellagio Fountains, Mirage Volcano
Restaurants: Momofuku, Milk Bar, Blue Ribbon Chicken, Eggslut, Stripburger
Late Night Restaurants: Secret Pizza, Tacos El Gordo, Thai Pepper delivered at 4am
Shows: Absinthe, Zumanity
Things to Do: Dive in Movies, The High Roller Happy Half-Hour

Does EBC do bottle specials on tables for Thursday nights? Who is the best host to contact there - Seems like things have changed.

rebel1130 I hope he's still around - Jason Davis has been my long-time go to @ EBC / Intrigue. 858-335-4200 is the last # I had for him. Great guy, has taken care of my groups and other friends many times.

Would Wet Republic not be a good choice? Only as I ve heard it mentioned so it was on the “maybe” list?!

I ve screen shot all your recommendations... we are staying at Cosmo so eggslut and secret pizza place will be visited early into our trip... thanks for the info!

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Wet Republic. Wet Republic has the problem of just being really open. The design doesn't have any shade for the pool, and the one large open pool design means you've got less edge to hang out at. Daylight has a similar problem, and I could only recommend either if they were at your hotel you are staying at, and therefore extremely convenient, or if you dead set on going the VIP route and they were much more reasonable than Encore Beach Club.

With Intrigue announced to be closing before June, if Encore Beach Club at Night is open by Wednesday 6/12 that'd be an option. If not, you might want to take a trip to Downtown Las Vegas and visit the Fremont East bar scene, including the very fun Gold Spike.
