Haze May4th

whats up people. I'm staying at Aria for the Mayweather fight on May 4th and was just wondering what I might expect if I get in line around 11? Just want to make sure I give myself a good chance to get in as long as I'm timely.

Sometimes I get sidetracked on my way to the club after a fight, but I am determined not to be this time; especially since Drai's is not a back-up option for now. So, I was hoping some of you might have some tips.

...... Or if any of you will also be there for the fight and know of other events you are thinking about.

I've been to Haze about 5 or 6 times. That's usually when I've shown up and havn't ever had to wait very long. Yes, they do have re-entry. I'll also be staying at Aria that weekend as well, should be busy and good times at every venue.

Whats the Atmosphere at Haze like?

Open format. Not too big, not too small. Never overly busy to the point where you can't get around. Easy to get drinks. Not difficult or expensive to get into. Decent place to meet and mingle with people. The wow factor isn't too high, but they have the dancing go-go girls, confetti drops, and special event props (Light sticks, glasses, etc.) from time to time.

Pretty sure from recent pics they've added some LED screens too. I went GA on a Thurs and liked it for the same reasons.

Is there any general seating for people who don't get bottle service?

Not as I recall...there was a little drink ledge between the bar and dance floor, overlooking the dance floor. I just don't recall if there were bar stools at the ledge. Otherwise I think there were seats at the bar...I think lol...that was a long night.

May 4th, that Saturday is TPains monthly residency and a lot, lot of hip hop heads are in town. Everytime he plays (I've worked the last 3x) it sells out (12:30 ish on tables) and there has been a door hold (no one in, not even reentry). 11 is too late to show up for GA, you 're gonna have to tip to skip or get a table.

Thanks for the warnings sir. I just saw the T-Pain flyer and figured merely showing up on time wasn't going to work like I thought when I made the thread lol. Tip to skip, well.. it is what it is....I caught up on some other threads over the weekend and see your name around as being the man to contact for haze. Only two of us guys this time, so we honestly can't do a bottle.. but I know for sure I can wrangle some females to bring...is it an ok night to hit you up for help if I go there (and have females)?

I can go ahead and buy general admission on wanttickets for Gallery with 2 Chainz. For just 2 guys, do you think I'd be better off buying something in advance than trying to contact recommended hosts at haze or say 1oak without a bottle? T-Pain at Haze, Chris Brown at 1oak. I've never hit up a host b4 so I feel like I should/need be getting a bottle ...this is jack colton ffs. I know Gallery isn't considered great but GA at better spots might be a mess...someoen help me validate this decision!

Yeah buy tickets...it's easier and usually cheaper than a handshake and you can just show up with your ticket, get in, and not worry about if you're 'doing it right'.

Cool, thx chuck. Cant wait...will be reporting back, I strayed away from the site when the forums changed.. but, turns out, it was just my crap computer slowing it down. Appreciate the help everyone

Do presales. Chris Brown at 1Oak will be prob the worst option GA because of it's size. 2Chainz at Gallery... he did a great show at 1Oak, but it was on a Tuesday Industry crowd mainly. Weekend may be more crazy, but for the pure hip/hop south style rap fan, I'd go. TPain is a little more main stream and his DJ show is really cool.
