I see people asking about the club crawls from time-to-time. I had a few days solo in vegas this past week so I thought I would give two of these a try. I haven't done them in a few years.
On Sunday I did LA Epic's Sunday Night Swim Crawl. Overall it was a great experience. I was planning on going to Nightswim at XS anyway and this was cheaper than buying a GA ticket ($43 vs $57 with taxes and fees on the XS website). The staff was friendly and polite but didn't interact much. They just took you from place to place and then disappeared. The group was small but everyone was good people. Group was younger. No one was over 40. Started at the Rockbar. They gave us a ticket for a free well drink. Next stop was Senior frogs. They gave us a shot when we walked in and all the well drinks were buy-one, get one. I took advantage of this and pounded a bunch so I wouldn't have to buy much at XS. We stayed for about an hour. At 11 they walked us over to XS and we got right in with no wait. I never saw the group again once inside but that was fine. XS was great. Pool was perfect. Awesome time! I would do this again next time.
On Monday I did Worldcrawl's Monday night tour for $35. The staff here were great. Very friendly and interactive to make sure everyone was having a good time. We started at Blondies in PH. They gave us a ticket for a free drink and met two super-adorable sisters from Texas at the bar. We became fast friends. Didn't stay long but I had arrived late. Next stop was PBR in PH. We got another free drink. The crawl staff played tip-cup with everyone. The Texas sisters rode the mechanical bull. Good stuff. Possibly worth it right there. After this they took us to Marquee. We got in with no wait. The girls got free wristbands for unlimited free drinks. This is where making friends with the sisters came in handy. They used their bands to get me free drinks the whole time. I didn't spend a dollar through the first three spots. Around midnight they took us to Jewel. Again no wait. Jewel was really full. Again another great evening. I wouldn't hesitate to give either of these crawls a try.
