Agree with most. I always tip a bartender in a bar/club I'm planning on staying at for a few hours at least $10 on my first drink. You'll get served much faster, and they'll overpour so you get your moneys worth. Throw in another couple of 5's throughout the night and you'll probably get a few free shots as well.

+1 for the big tip in the beginning. definitely helps with service because they remember your face and will def. serve you before others. tried doing this with the casino cocktail girls too but then they just send over a diff. girl next time

I remember tipping I think $10-12 on my first drink at XS last summer, and the bartender seemed to appreciate it because the next time I came up he remembered my face and served me immediately with a strong drink. May not work like this every time but in Vegas its worth it
