  • Open Bar for MDW - Too Good to be True...?

I was looking around for pre-sale tickets for MDW and found this website. Has anyone heard of it before. It sounds too good to be true...

LAX for $45 dosent seem too bad for a tier 2 club, esp MDW. $75 at pure is way too much imho.

its only open bar from 1030-1230.... so take that into account. I agree not a bad deal for LAX IMO.

"inclusive" of gratuities so I am sure the bartenders just love the people who dont open their wallets up to tip after purchasing them because the tip is incuded. You better tip hard to get your money out of it

its a legit website. AMG clubs use it like WynnCore uses wantickets.com to sell their presales.

Something like this open bar you have to start with a 20 I think just so you get the maximum drinks in the 2 hours. After that I would think a few fives thrown in there and you will get your value out of it.

Thanks for the responses. I was more concerned that it was a "bad" website type of thing. Too many fake Vegas sites out there. I'm trying to find all the pre-sale clubs possible for that weekend. How would the bartenders know about the open bar? Even if I get a wristband, there are so many different ones out there for clubs.

I don't tip in clubs either to be honest. In a bar/lounge setting I do. To me, it is so easy for someone else just to grab the tip money at a club without anyone noticing. Am I'm cheap too :-)

I know what youre saying in a club scene and I wouldnt leave it on the bar and just walk away. Hand it directly to the bartender

Not tipping bartenders is really, really, bad... Especially in Vegas, that's how they live...

You can easily have the tip money ready while your card is being swiped or use the change you get back and hand it to them right after you collect it. Not that hard... Granted its a pooled tip so a couple bucks wouldn't hurt your wallet

If I am ordering drinks at the bar, I personally tip $20 right off the bat (I hand it to them). A lot of people think that sounds crazy, but the math just makes sense. Not only are the pours heavy the rest of the night (which will probably be equivalent to a $15 vodka soda anyway), it ensures better service. Or, what I like to call, preferred service.

If I order 10 drinks throughout the night, even if I don't tip on another drink (which I do, usually $1-$2 per drink), I've still tipped $2 per drink anyway. And, considering most of my competition is a bunch of people who either tip $1 per drink or don't tip at all, if the bartender sees me packed in among El Cheapo and his boys, I'm getting helped first. nd that bartender may move on to three or four other people before acknowledging the cheap skate.

I usually tip $10-$20 when I have a wristband or drink coupons. The bartender usually sees me and brings me my drink as soon as I get to the front of the bar. There's only been about 2 times when I've initially ended up with a douchey bartender. The tip is worth the time I don't spend waiting around at the bar.

Tipping is definitely worth it in the long run.
