Hi Guys,

i'm a bit confused about tipping. We have booked a few venues when we go and have agreed prices with direct hosts. eg 2k min spend plus taxes and tips.

Is it the norm to tip the host we have been dealing with anything else or is that included. I realise we need to tip bouncers to look after our table.

So where does the $500 dollars extra that I'm paying in tips on a 2k table actually go if I still have to tip host waitress and bouncers??!!

These are all REQUIRED and part of your bill:
$2000 minimum spend
20% Waitress Tip
8% Sales Tax
Service/Venue Fee (depends - approximately 5%)

These are all RECOMMENDED and not included in your bill:
Host Tip - recommend discussing with your host upfront so that you get the benefits of said tipping
Busboy Tip - I start smaller and tip more as needed/used
Security Tip - I start smaller and tip more as needed/used
