Mixed group - with hot chicks - best strategy?

Vegas noob here – found these boards and it helped me immensely preparing our trip!

7 guys (late 20s) and 6 girls (3 of them are 8-9 by Vegas standards – they are legit!... the other 3 are 6-7s) meaning, as a group, they probably can get in anywhere for free… guys are not looking to hook up with these girls and vice versa (been there, done that – everyone is looking for new blood!)

There from April 29 (Monday) til May 5 (Sunday) – thus including fight night… I have been host/owner of clubs in Montreal so I know the drill (presale, glist, BS, b2g1) but obviously not to the Vegas extent… Preference for EDM over hip-hop but wouldn’t mind going to 1OAK on Tuesday for example if it’s the only place rocking that night…

We’re looking at a mix of tier1 clubs during the week… So I’m guessing: Mon (XS) / Tues (1OAK) / Wed (Surrender-Light) / Thurs (Hakkasan-Tryst-Tao) / Fri-Sat (Light-Hakkasan-XS-Marquee)

So basically, with a 1,500$/night budget on Mon-Thurs and 4,000$/night Fri-Sat (only guys are paying obvisouly!) what’s the best strategy for us to get in quickly given that 7-6 ratio and depending on the night?... For Mon-Thurs, get a quote/BS for guys and let the girls get in for free?... Fri-Sat, presale? Splitting into smaller mixed groups? Same as other nights?

OK man so if your girls are hot you would imagine they're in for free without cover. Try n sort guest list for them and tip the host

The girls can then join you inside.

For the guys, youll need tables, and you'll need to up your spend and hugely mate. theres 13 of you, and thats gonna need at least 6 to 8 bottles just to get you started realistically or you'll be out of drink in 2 hours and dry from midnight onwards!

You'll need to up the spend to $6k including tax and grat on the Friday and Saturday, and the week nights are gonna be a total nightmare if youre going in with 2 bottle minimums with 7 guys. A) Thats a low minimum B) Its a lot of guys to fit on one table C) you'll get poor real estate that in no way will cater for the group of 13.

If I were you I would can the idea of bottle service for the Mon-Thurs thing. You dont have the budget to make it worth it. You'd get one drink each, if that with 2 bottles between 13.

Up your spend on the bottle service nights on Fri/Sat and lower the spend with pre-sales / guestlist Mon-Thurs.

Have you factored in pool parties? If you havent, then you MUST!

The 1,500$ budget on Mon-Thurs was factoring in only 3-4 guys going (different guys each night) - so basically 400/500$ per guy... but I get what you are saying and needing to up the ante especially on Fri-Sat if we are looking for tier1 clubs - and I don't think that would be a problem (just have to talk some sense into the cheaper guys in the group!)...

I find it ironic that our biggest problem is that we'll have 6 girls with us (acting as bottle rats) and having to account for them... we're usually having (as you said) 6-8 bottles when we go out in Montreal (mix of Goose, JD, Bombay) but that's obvisouly not in the $Vegas figures...

Also... we'll surely hit one pool party during the week (looking at Angello/EBC) as we are staying at one of the guy's house (great place: pool / spa / room for the 13 of us) 10 minutes off of the strip...

Yep so what I would do if I were you would pre-sale the Mon-Thurs nights, save your money for the table service nights on Friday and Saturday. Its just not worth dropping $400 or $500 cos once the girls are there youre gonna get about 1 or 2 drinks.

I would factor in more pool parties. I think theyre the most fun to be had in Vegas. Do Bare Pool the Monday you arrive to get in the swing of it, Friday at Daylight or Marquee Dayclub and Saturday at Encore Beach. The good thing here is most girls in general cant drink as much, so if they get wasted in the day they wont make the night! Thus making your night far cheaper and you can go hunting! hahaha!

PS your nightclub decisions are pretty nailed on perfect.

Great advice on the mon-thurs vs fri-sat split... and also good strategy on attending more pool parties (all girls want to go to a few of them) and probably not having them bottle rats-ing! at night!... love it!...

As for fight night - what time should we hit the club before everybody does?... I'm trying to figure out from past experience what's the ideal setup in order to predrink the hell out of it... we're 10 mins off the bottom end of the strip / Mandalay Bay and will probably go to XS/Avicii...

JayMan, my best advice would be to probably hook up with 2-3 good hosts that will be able to take good care of you over the week since you'll more than likely will visiting a couple venues that they will be affiliated w/ and have access too (ex. XS/Surrender/EBC/Tryst, Marquee/Tao/Lavo, Hakk/WR...) Even hooking up with just one of the hosts on this forum will go along way as any good host worth a damn will have connects all over the city.

Itinerary wise, I'd look at something like this:

Monday - Decompress from a long flight, Dinner @ STK (Cosmo) and then W&W @ Marquee which will be in the same hotel/floor for the convenience factor. Definitely look into this night as it's Industry Night for them and you should be able to get quite a deal. Cliff Orr should be able to take care of you nicely here. Girls should be able to get guestlisted here.

Tuesday - Shop/Explore Vegas during the daytime and then hit up 1OAK. Again, it'll be poppin' off due to Industry Night for them. Do bottles this night as well as you should be able to hopefully work out B2G1 deals that you may be able to stack! Contact, Cliff's bro Joey for info and have the girls guestlisted.

Wednesday - Eric Prydz w/ Adrian Lux @ Surrender. Save your money this night for the madness in the coming days. You won't really need a table here as there are plenty of area's where you will be able to meet up and sit down. Always had a good time here even when going in w/o BS as other forum members can probably attest. Get the girls guestlisted here and maybe you'll get a walk in as well if you use the same host to book XS later on in the week.

Thursday - Hit up Liquid's pool party @ Aria. It's usually the best Thursday pool party available and will have a ton of hot local industry people. Kaz Isaac Curry from this forum will be able to take care of you here.
Hakkasan w/ R3HAB on this night would be a good choice. Thursday mins are drastically lower than what Friday/Saturday mins will look like. You'll be getting more bang for your buck by going this night and it should be still very crowded due to the newness of the club. Contact Thomas Gorman.

Friday - Pool Party @ Wet Republic. Tables/Cabana not really recommended here as they are far from the action. Get the girls guestlisted through Thomas Gorman as will and see if he can take care of you guys since you booked Hakk with him the night before.
Alesso & Hook n Sling @ Light will be a helluva night! Contact NoahRam from these boards and see if there's any way you can get the girls on the guestlist. If not, just have them buy pre-sales. Definitely swing for the tables here with the guys.

Saturday - Steve Angello @ EBC. Last day, balls to the wall!!! Spurge for a daybed/beach couch here and you won't regret it! Use the contact from Surrender here.
Avicci @ XS to end the week!!!

Wow... thanks for the advice/lineup ENC012E!... I'll definitely go through the hosts that are provided on these boards - as I said, I know the drill (doing it for a while in Montreal) and will be sure to look at the tipping thread to ensure that they get fair treatment - especially if we are able to get b1g1 or b2g1 deals during the week... don't know much if these type of deals are available at pool parties (since we don't have that much up here...lol)

Pool parties are a food & beverage min. You might be able to get a credit, but don't expect it.

This is a good lineup for sure!

- If you want to do an early pool, you could add Bare on Monday
- If $1500 didn't get you main room at Surrender, I would just go there GA, not a bad club for GA due to it's size, gambling area, etc..
So it would look like this money wise...

Mon
Bare - 500-750 min -VIP Day BED Up Top!
XS- $1000, min (they do the vodka specials also, then tip to get inside main room)

Tues
1Oak - B2G1 about 1kmin for 3 bottles

Wed
Surrender- GA

Thurs
Liquid - 750 - Party couch w/ Daybed by DJ or cabana 1250, also B2G1s
Hakk- $2500-3k (this may be the expensive one hence skipping Wed)

Fri
Wet - 750-1k min should get a decent Day Bed close to pool or one of the party cabanas on the left side
Light - 2k-3k (1 room, not a bad spot anywhere really)

Sat
EBC - 1500-2k min ( couch or daybed)
XS - 3k-4k (table in main room, prob back wall or patio to side of DJ)

Now, here's where I differ a bit.. With your crew doing bottles, you will be able to all get in free under the table based on the budget you have. And I would be upfront about size of crew and ratio, that way they can seat you in the most appropriate spot.

I havn't heard much about Liquid pool party compared to EBC / Wet / Marquee - really good deal it seems on thursday with b2g1... and we'll surely hit Light - that's obviously one of the spots we are looking forward to... Thanks ocam - yeah, saw that all over the boards... If we are switching, thought of going to Hakkasan on thrusday and Light friday initially - and are going to Hakkasan on friday night instead... what would be the best options for thursday night? (EDM, industry?)
