Hi all! This looks like a great list, but I seem to be missing how to interpret it. The same clubs are listed for both "I want only open format" and "I want only electronic music" on the same days. For example, Tryst is listed for open format only on Thursday night and also listed for electronic music only format for Thursday night. Another example is, Hakkason is not listed for open format only for Thursday night, but is listed for mainly open format for Thursday night.

    I'm confused!

Tryst has a mix of tunes on Thursdays.

Hakkasan is EDM and is the best place on Thursday night among all clubs. (It has a hiphop room called Ling Ling -- but I don't think a backwater room playing open format in an EDM club really counts). So Hakkasan is the Thursday pick for someone who is open minded about listening to EDM (and not looking for open format every single night of their trip).

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

        Hi

Really good info on what clubs play what sort of music on each night.

Only thing I want to ask if this applies on MDW aswell?

I know most places have a special guet or DJ this weekend so I guess I'm asking what will your open format and EDM picks be for that weekend?

        Thanks

Most open format places will remain open format, they might just have a special guest. The EDM places will stay the same.

The bigger difference is that some clubs that aren't typically open on some days (e.g. Marquee on Sunday, EBC on Monday, etc), will be open every day/night Friday-Monday.

If you want me to suggest a lineup over MDW for you - just let me know your music preference and i'll come up with something.

            Thanks
We prefer mainly open format but are yet to see who is at all the venues we have provisionally booked. We want BS everywhere
            At the moment it's
            Tao- Thursday
            Xs- Friday
            Hakkasan- Saturday
            Bank- Sunday

            Thanks

Great lineup - though I'd think about Tryst on Thursday. There are some super cheap bottle deals at the moment (I think it's goose+moet $300 / 2 x goose $450)

How come Tryst can offer such great bottle deals on Thursdays as opposed to some other clubs? (i.e. Haze, Tao)

No way to know for sure...but Hakk being open on Thursdays has introduced some new competition to Thursday nights. They still have to fill tables. Only two ways to do that really, lower minimums or offer bottle deals. I imagine it's better to discount the bottles than to discount the real estate...
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Good point...Tryst's bottle deals seem too good to pass up. Looking forward to checking it out.

Thank you for compiling such great information! I am still a newbie to this site, and to Vegas for the most part (only been 4 times), so I am always looking for advice on where to go.

We are planning my bachelorette party for May 31-June 3, 14 girls, and I am stuck on where we should go. We are open to all kinds of music, and have previously enjoyed Tao, XS, Haze and Lavo. Any recommendations for where to hit up this time? We are planning for Tao Beach and Encore Beach Club during the day (not sure which for which day yet), but haven't narrowed down the club options. Also, any ideas for "deals" (b1g1, etc.) for any days that weekend? We have only done bottle service once, and this is something I am considering for this trip, but I know some of the girls won't be able to afford much.

Any advice you can give me is appreciated :-)

Since you are there Fri-Mon, you will only really be able to score bottle deals on the Sunday or Monday.

                        How about:
May 31 - Mat Zo & Stafford Brothers @ Light (new club, only 1 week old, so worth checking out)
June 1 (day) - Tao Beach (I think EBC/WR is your best bet for Sunday, so if you wanted to do TB then do it here)
June 1 (night) - Martin Solveig @ XS (good DJ and XS is a club you have said you like)
June 2 (day) - Avicii @ Encore Beach Club or Calvin Harris @ Wet Republic (both will be packed and you can't go wrong either way)
June 2 (night) - Bank (change up of music from EDM and you will be able to get a bottle deal here... probably a B1G1 for a group of girls). Afrojack @ XS Nightswim would be a good party, but you're already doing a couple pools, might want to see Solveig at XS, so maybe just stick with Bank.

I'm guessing you leave on June 3.

Thanks Ocam, I appreciate the advice. I definitely was thinking Light would be a good option, but do you think because it is new we would be able to get on a guestlist?

Any advice on Marquee? I know you didn't list it, but I was wondering if it was worth consideration or not for one of the nights.

We are staying at Palazzo, so having most of the time at Wynn and Venetian area is definitely a bonus, but I would definitely like to try one of the ones you recommended :-) Nightswim was on my radar, it looks like a blast! I saw in another thread they sometimes do bottle specials at XS on Sundays (I know I'd have to contact a host to see, but does that sound right?), I'll def check on Bank though too.

Any thoughts on The Act too for afterhours? Given it's proximity to our rooms, I was wondering whether it was worth checking out too.

Thanks again for your advice! This site has been so valuable.

Not sure about guestlists, but no harm in contacting a host to find out. Noah Ortiz () is a host there and can give you a definitive answer.

Marquee is definitely worth considering, but will only be open on the Friday/Saturday of your trip. I don't think the DJ on will be as good as Light's offering; but Kaskade on Saturday will be a big draw (but that means $$$$ if you are getting tables). See if Cliff Orr (586.489.4531) can get you on a guestlist. With it being Saturday and Kaskade, I'm not so sure . . .

Yes they do bottle specials at XS on Sundays - I tihnk it's 2 grey goose for $595 or goose+moet for $495. Contact Bobby Yeadon on 708.714.0280 if you want more info - tell him you are keen on the bottle deals they have, and that you are from the JC forums. Joey Orr (586.873.4876) is your man at Bank and will likely hook you up with a bottle deal like B1G1 or B2G1.

I think The Act is a good choice for you as an afterhours given its proximity.
