    He JC Forumites

I am pretty new but read the forum every day as I am 3 weeks away from my Vegas trip.

Currently I have a host and I am booked for table service at the Bank as I am staying at the Bellagio.

From reading the forum, the Bank on Sundays seems not to be the "preferred option".

I was recommended the Bank from my independent host who has looked after all my other Bottle Service arrangements for later in the week.

What can I expect at the Bank... I am just interested in having a good time and partying it up with some hot and fun women.

Should I stay with the Bank, or what compelling options should I really be considering?

The other thing is the Bank on the Sunday is convenient for me in the sense that I am staying at the Bellagio, so I plan to have a bit of an afterparty at my suite should all things fall into place... however, is the Bank a bit of a dud now?

    Help sincerely appreciated

Bank is still the hot spot, but you should hold off and see what happens with Hakk, also XS is pretty good to on Sunday. If you need connects PM, but Hakk may take some of the shine off of Bank and XS. Thing about Bank is that it will still be the only place on Sunday for good open format and it's not that big. It sells out every week and has a mosh pit of people out front most of the night. And, you shouldn't book with an Indie to be honest, especially at Bank that night. They don't really need the Indie push and the Bank host guest will have priority tables, unless you're gonna do like 3-5k.

^^ What he said - independent hosts are basically just working their margin into the figures they give you.

So you can get a better price dealing directly with a host.

Bank is good if you want open format. If you are after electronic music, then Hakkasan or XS. I wouldn't let the "afterparty" affect your decision-making: most of the time a girl would prefer to go back to hers.
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

        Thanks Kazflair.

I did approach my host about this and he has re-assured me that I have a priority table booked... so lets hope that is not unfounded promises!!!

I think I will stick with the Bank... It sounds like it gets ultra busy. Just so I can put in a request, is atable on the mezzanine overlook the dancefloor the best table(s) to get. I also want ease of eye access so, that I can spot groups of girls who have the look I am after to see if they want to party at my table?

That bold part is soooo true. Now, if you're trying to get to home base and she has a ton of other chicks in the room, then push for yours.

On that bold part right there, tell him to send you a table number then... We can look at the map and I'll re-re- assure you or maybe help you avoid a bad situation. I'm at Bank most Sundays and the Mezz is the best spot but If you have a big group, don't get the tables on the glass, they are smaller for parties in the 2-4 person range

Have you started a thread in the GET CONNECTED forum to see if you can split tables / meet up with others from here? Or checked if anyone has overlapping dates?

What's the min you were quoted at the bank? What table number/area has your host told you that you will be in?

                  2k min.

I havent been told yet what table.

To be honest... happy to have it alone... I plan on just meeting people there I think solo would be fun in a way. Unless I meet up with someone/group earlier in the day somewhere and invite them along after to meet me... I am just paying it pretty open.

                    2k all-in or 2k + taxes + tips?

You should definitely check what table location you are getting with that kind of coin - because that should get you a pretty damn good table at Bank I'd think

2k + taxes + tips? 2k is just the "bottle credit". There is door + gratuity + taxes on top.

Should i basically tell the host what tables I should expect? or just leave it with him?

You should definitely ask him what to expect!!! It's your money and you have a right to know what you're getting.

By "door", I'm assuming he means host/podium tip (because with a table you don't pay cover charge).

That's a crazy amount of money bro - if you had booked through Joey Orr, he'd probably put you on a dancefloor table with that kind of coin [or something very good anyway]. If you had that kind of cash to blow (between like 3 people?), you'd be better off spending a little more at XS/Marquee/Light/Hakkasan for the premiere Las Vegas experience. It feels like this host is gouging you to be honest...

I also just saw your previous posts and it seems like Bank/The Act are the 2 places you've selected for bottle service... not sure why you've chosen them over other options? On Sunday you have XS or Hakkasan, on Monday you could have done XS or Marquee, on Tuesday 1OAK, on Wednesday Surrender.

Not trying to be critical of your selections - just trying to see whether you chose them on a fully informed basis. Also, don't want to see you paying more for less.

They came recommended to me by the host.

Dancefloor table would be nice... I hope that my host takes care of me.

Either way I will be posting a full detailed TR explaining it all and what I got.

Then the JC community can judge if its worth it or not... Atleast this way I am giving the host the benefit of the doubt to deliver on expectations.

He knows I want the best... and as you can see I am paying a decent amount to expect quality.

Wouldn't you rather do the hard work now to get the best experience you can for your money? Rather than just leaving it to chance, and posting a trip report about it later?

We're not here to judge people's trips (nor do we judge them); but to give them advice before they go so they have the best time possible/get value for money.

On re-reading my posts, it seems like I'm coming across as critical of you -- that's not the intention.

I just feel like this host might be taking advantage of you, which is unfair to you.

EDIT: The host may indeed be legit if you're indeed getting the right table. Without that info (and if s/he is reluctant to provide it) then it just seems a bit iffy.
