Im not putting you off - im saying be realisic.

On the one hand youre saying you're gonna go in on a minimum spend - low minimum table, and then "see how it goes" and the other you're telling us you dont wanna spend bucks!

My point is this - if you are going out with the intention of spending 3 or 4k between you, then get a 3 or 4k table. There's little point going into a club on a low minimum, low-end table and spending a $4000. You might aswell be realistic and get better real estate.

You keep talking about not knowing where youll have the most fun. Every night is what you make of it. You're worrying too much

you don't need bottle service to get in-
Most people actually aren't doing bottle service- the crowd is all presales/general admission/guestlist

Haha yes ... i see what you guys saying... and yes I do worry to much...

And yes we are doing alright.. and yes we are going to Ibiza first...

The thing is ... we can spent 4-5k a night... but not every night...

so you guys are saying that it is stupid to spent 4k on a back end table... but the thing is... if we spent that kind of money once we are in .. there must be a reason for that... right?

Yeah you guys are right... I do worry to much... as being the organiser for the whole 12 days... I like to know exactly what to expect...

Should let things go a little more..

The minimum spent part... is just what we expected... didn't know we had it all wrong... that's why I am on this forum...

And yes... we are european I guess... if I read this back... it looks like we are "el Cheapo" and want to sit front row for a buck or two...

It would be a little silly to drop $4k on a table that is not anywhere near what could get. You'd be paying top dollar for a poor return.

You're right on the minimum spend thing. Thats fine to get in. But if you're spending $4000 you might aswell get the best table you possibly can.

If you go in on a $1k table it will be a table thats on the back wall and no good. It'd be no point spending thousands there when you can spend the same amount and be on the dancefloor in the thick of it.

You just need to be realistic with how much you wanna spend. If you wanna spend $1000 each per night you have options on good tables at every club in vegas. If you wanna spend $300 you dont.

I just think you may be missing the point.

I don't think anyone was calling you cheap. There is nothing wrong with having a lower tier table, at least in my opinion.

They are saying do not WASTE your money. If you greatly exceed your quoted minimum - you are getting less than you would had you started with a greater minimum. It's a diminishing return. It would be like going to Itunes and buying each song of an albulm for a dollar for $12 bucks, when you could have gotten the whole albulm, case, actual disc copy, cover art, for the same price (if you would have just been realistic on what you were going to spend up front).

Yes, you can spend as much as you want on a low minimums (for Vegas standards). However, you will not get all the perks of starting off with that high minimum to begin with.
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

              Higher Minimums = Better tables
Contact the recommended hosts here. Be up front with how much you want to spend, and I can guarantee they will be helpful and give you a good idea of the kind of location you can get for your budget.
I feel like we are going in circles here. lol
I also agree with headstrong. Nothing wrong with a lower tier table. You will still have a great time as long as you're with great people.

                .
I agree. I certainly didn't mean to suggest Moose is cheap. A good time can be had on lower tier tables also. My point is pretty much the same as everyone else is saying...you don't want to be on the "outside looking in" when your dropping the same amount as the guys at the dance floor tables. During the weekends most Vegas clubs are fully booked on their Tier 1 tables...while people can get moved up towards the end of the night, it wont be guaranteed that a Tier 1 table will open up for your group at any point in the night.

What type of music were you guys interested in? Not sure if you responded to that already or not.

Sorry, I don't think any one here means to say that you were cheap. That is not the case at all.

We just think you should spend your money a little smarter so that you get best value ! With 5 guys you can get into a club with presale tickets. These are tickets that you buy for a particular club on a particular night (like buying a movie ticket for a particular session). You then go into the "presale ticket line" and can get in quite quickly (if you are not drunk and dressed well).

Presale tickets for men are typically $30-90 depending on the night and DJ. You can buy tickets to most events from www.wantickets.com

Because drinks are so expensive though, it can mean that if you and your group are drinking a lot, then you could have been better off with bottle service. So, my suggestion is that if you want a night with only a few drinks (or you want to do heavy drinking in your room before heading out), buy presale tickets for one of the nights -- and the money that you have saved can be spent on bottle service another night (maybe even increasing your budget enough for an inside table).

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

                      +1

I'm not a huge spender normally (Vegas is the minor exception) and most of my friends are less so, so if we go out big, it's usually one night and the other night we hit it lower key (S.C., pre-sales, etc).

I think what the OP is saying, is that he can spend $4-5k on maybe one night, but you're only going to do that on a night where you're having a great time. Some nights a couple in the group maybe tired etc. - so you don't want to commit to a $4k table every night, other specify in advance which night you're going to hit it hard.

He's saying better doing spread lower minimums across the nights, and spend more on the night when everyone's into it.

Yeah, I understand that, but if you are thinking of spending more one night, you are losing some by not picking that night before hand. Lower minimums mean worse table possibilities. Higher minimums, higher possibilities.

Yeah, it's understandable that he wants to spread out his chances to keep the overall budget lower, where he has smaller budgets for multiple nights instead of having a larger budget one night.

All we are saying is by spreading out your budget more initially, you are sacrificing a chance at a much better table. There's nothing wrong with his plan outside of the fact, if he does end up spending 4k on a 1k table he will have a diminishing return on that 1k table.

This is exactly the point what I am thinking about...

On one side you don't know which night al noses will be pointing in the same direction.. because it has so many variables... for example you plan to have a 5k night and it ends up being not so a good night.. .for whatever reason...

So the real question is ... what do you choose... spread the budget out on 4 nights and if it gets going take it as it comes and may end up spending much money on a low minimum table..

Or choose one big night with the chance it doesn't bring what you expected of it...

so basically choose one night to go ballistic... and 3 nights which are so-so...
or go 4 nights on for example 70% of what it could have been...

I really think this is a hard choice... for you guys it might be an open door ... but yeah never been there with this group... & being from Europe (which doesn't work like this at all) doesn't really help....

You could say ... Fear Of The Unkown... hahaha... yeah yeah I worry to much...

If you have a fun group - you can have a good night with or without bottle service. If you have a group that is not fun, then you will have a bad night even with a dancefloor table with 100 bottles.

I say do 1 good night of bottle service (and one other cheaper night if you can also afford it), then just do presales to the rest. As long as you make the most of your bottle service night(s), then bad luck to whoever isn't up for it.
