  • Is it possible to have fun without bottle service?

Hello i am new here, and i want to celebrate my 21st birthday in vegas next month

But the thing is most people i know can't make it on my birthday (the guys who have money) So most probably i will be going solo

    How can i have fun?

Is there any guide for solo trips to vegas?

And what would be an appropriate budget for a weekend in vegas?

Also would promoters help me to get inside clubs?

    Thanks

Hook up with people on this forum, meet up with them and party. Yes you can have fun, but it is better with a crew.

Welcome Harren...you can definitely have a good time going solo.
        When are you going?

You can search the forums, there are multiple threads about people going solo.

Assuming a weekend is Fri-Sun you can have a great time on a $1,000 budget...less even.
Between presales or linking up with a host or two you won't have any problem getting in to clubs/pools.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Sucks that you have to celebrate without your friends. I'm in town solo quite a bit, and I always have a great time. I'ts a city full of drunk people who are just down to have a good time. You should have no problem meeting great people. Like Kaz said, check the "get connected" part of the boards to see if you can meet up with some people. I'd hit up some recommended hosts on the forum to see what they can do for you. As far as your budget goes, it's really up to what you want to do. If you are going to do pre sale tickets, check on those prices.

There are also a couple of guides on the site that can help you know what to expect as far as drink prices and tipping goes. It can be found here: http://www.jackcolton.com/guide-categories/club/

I can usually get away with spending less than 100 bucks a day and still have on okay time. However, if you have more money to throw around, you will have more fun. I would highly recommend finding some people to share a table with for at least one night. It really is worth the money.

Hope this helps a little. Have a great birthday trip!

Edit: When I saw $100/night, that's assuming you don't do much during the day, and you have entry on a guest list, or something.

Im going there on may 23rd, and my birthday would be on 24th

1000$ excluding the hotel would be a little bit of an outreach but i would try to save up as close as possible to that amount

Like Rhythmz said...you can definitely do less. That is MDW though so things like bottle service will be more expensive.
You can probably get by on $40/day for food and essentials, $60/day on drinks (assuming you get some for your room), and $50/night for a presale ticket. So even a $500 budget would be doable. If you share a table one night your share will probably
be $200 or so depending on the venue.

Didn't see that he was going MDW. Def a more expensive weekend, but crazy fun.

I will be there that weekend, too. Shoot me a message if you're down to meet up!

                            Unfortunately not

Agree with the comments in this thread though - pregame heavily and just get presale tickets to keep costs down. Definitely see who else from the forums is around so you can have some additional people to hang with.

$100 a day is tough, but doable.
