Sorry this is a long read, my bad... May not be in the right are but oh well... Light.jpg
1. Light
Did a walk through two days ago... OMG! In terms of a large scale club that is focused on the DJ and dancefloor, I don't think there's a better layout. One big room, high ceilings, tables have stadium seating style so the different tiers/levels won't block the one behind. And, even the top balcony level has a great view and doesn't feel out of the action! But the effects and light show are just ridiculous. The wall that the DJ is on has acrobatic stuff behind it, so the Cirque performers can do tricks behind the wall and you can see the silhouette (I guess that's how you spell it) That's the middle part of wall where dj is. The two out parts have panels that they have 3D imaging they can blast on em, it's just sick, they can make the wall look like anything. The ceiling has LED panels that can do different stuff too. The other thing is that there are things that hang down from ceiling that the performers can swing on , do tricks, etc.. really cool. I met a few of the Cirque guys, there's 11-12 performers on the team and they will do tricks based on the style of music the DJ is playing and change things up often. In terms of size, I felt the dancefloor was like XS's maybe slightly bigger. The club felt 3-4x the size of Marquee's main room with higher ceilings. The bars are huge. The decor feels like a mix of 1Oak and Marquee. Booths definitely felt like the big ones at 1Oak. Pic from 2nd level attached. call Noah asap and get there. I can book there also, do walk-ins, or help you find Noah, haha! Will be the place to be for Edm folks.
2. The Act- Afterhours
Got off at Haze, 130am ish, met girls I met at Liquid at Tryst, they were at a douche table when I got there, tried to be nice etc...etc.. one guy was trippin, kept my cool, whatever.... My other clients hated the club they were at told em to come to Tryst. They came, my normal Tryst guys were off/playing with themselves, whatever. Everyone there knows me so no worry, talked to Mark Petrasich (host admin mgr) LEGIT! My clients met us at podium popped a bottle, he put us on only open dancefloor table, (it's 215am ish). Girls w douch table saw the situation. At table I saw hot girls (found out to be Canadians), already dancing in front of Canadians. Hit on Canandians, girls with douche guys left douche guys, came to our table, a real party started. We are all dancing w partying, etc... turn around, 3 more bottles are on table (not paid for, fyi, apparently Mark or someone found some on a table that left but didn't finish, OMG party intensifies) Night gets late. Time for the Act. Group splits, myself David wing man / client take 2 of the Canadians to The ACT for after hours. Arrive 330-345am ish. Get there, The ACT is going off!!! no line, no cover, straight in, Jason Habel is out front. Go inside, music is open format, blasting 2 Chainz or something, club is packed. Look up, there's RJ Ferro, reaches in pocket, handful of drink tix, wtf.... stay til sun comes up.. Basically the Act after hours is legit!
3. ReasonableDoubt- aka Bryant
Awesome, awesome guy. Met him at Haze Thursday, did a B1G1. I had a client with a spot in front of his, introduced the two, and everyone had a good time. If you ever have a chance to share a table with this guy, don't worry about a thing! Nice, respectful, and gets along with everyone. Around 2am or so, he and just table hopped, drank, around the club and I introduced him to a lot of the hosts/ industry people as it was our Industry Night. Took him on VIP Mezz and a few Vip tables, everyone welcomed the guy so that says a lot about his swag...
Ok, off to EBC... maybe...
