  • Looking for Top Open Format Clubs

In Vegas for for April 19-21. Currently we have a table reservation for Friday the 19th @ 1 Oak. Looking to make a reservation for Sat the 20th but not sure where. Really want to got to Marquee and check it out. I know Marquee has the boom box room but haven't seen many good reviews for that room. Does the main room in Marquee play any top 40 / hip hop? Is the boom box room really that bad? We are looking for a club that has a open format but unfortunately it seems like the two hottest clubs out there (Marque, XS) are strictly EDM. What clubs are considered open format and would be the next best thing besides Marque,XS,Tao(been to Tao a couple times want to try something new).

Marquee main room on Saturday will be all EDM (Ryan Marciano & Sunnery James are the DJ's that night). I've never been to the boom box room at Marquee but from the reviews of the JC members, it sounds like it's fairly small and not the same type of party atmosphere that the main room has going for it.

If you want to hear top 40/hip-hop, I'd suggest Tryst. Jermaine Dupri will be the DJ that night.

Hakkasan is opening that weekend also and will have open format DJs in its Ling Ling room.

Here's the Hakk LL room lineup:

      4/18 - DJ Vice
      4/19 - Eric D-Lux
      4/20 - ?uestlove
      4/25 - Jessie Who
      4/26 - Ruckus
      4/27 - DJ Irie
      5/2 - Gusto
      5/3 - Jesse Marco
      5/4 - DJ RossOne

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Yeah the Hakk LingLing room has some great DJ's. As long as they gave the room some space and ambiance it could be awesome.
I'd keep an eye on it, otherwise I'd go for Tryst. Tryst is sold.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Tryst is great. We've go there every time we come to Vegas. Looking to try a new places this time. But would definitely like it to have the same atmosphere (especially when it firts opened) as Tryst. Don't know much about Hakkasan. Is the ling ling room the main room in the club? I think we're looking for a place that is open format in there main room. Some other friends suggested The Bank and Chateau. What do you think?

I'd do Hyde over those two. Hyde is a great spot for open format.

Based on what you've said above - I would say check out Hyde or Haze.

I know it's past its prime but we had a table at Pure in January and it was surprisingly fun. Just another place worth checking out especially to see if you could get a good deal.

Marquee's Boom Box Room can be cool in short bursts but it's much too small and hot to have a table in there
                2016 (past) - none
                2016 (upcoming) - June 10th - 13th. Venetian. Invasion schedule
