  • LDW bachelorette

Hi all, looking for some advice.

I will be bringing 10 girls for my bachelorette on LDW. We are all late twenties to 31 yo. My question is - will it be necessary to purchase tickets to get into clubs like Hakkasan, XS, etc. I see that pretty much every venue is having a pretty big special guest on those nights (i.e. Zedd & Calvin Harris for XS & Hakkasan) - and although some other venues don't have anyone scheduled yet, I am assuming they will. So, I suspect that it will be necessary to purchase tickets to enter although I have no particular desire to see any of those artists. I prefer to go to more than one venue per night but if we have to buy a ticket and stay in one place to avoid wasting time trying to get in, I will do it. Alternatively are there any venues you could recommend that wouldn't require tickets?

    TIA

    welcome
you can get on a guestlist for free entry
Best choice probably XS in that its a huge place with outside patio
XS, Hakkasan, Omnia are the biggest capacity

Why multiple venues? All headline djs start around 1am. Better to do pool party and nightclub same day.
While you can go to two nightclubs in one night you really got to plan that out in terms of entry, timing, transportation.

pool parties open around 11am with headline dj on around 3pm going till around 6pm
nightclubs open around 11pm with headline dj on around 1am going till around 5am

also have a look at lineups to get idea on djs compare
around 20+ nightclubs open on friday/saturday
    xs
    omnia (main room+ heart, terrace)
    hakkasan (main room+ ling ling)
    Jewel
    marquee
    surrender
    intrigue
    drais
    light
    tao
    1oak
    hyde
    bank
    foxtail
    chateau
    ghostbar
    luxor nightclub

    pool parties:
    encore beach club
    wet republic
    marquee dayclub
    daylight
    tao beach
    drais dayclub
    foxtail sls
    rehab
    palms pool- ditch
    liquid-aria
    venus
    bare
    sky beach club tropicana

I think if you do a dayclub and nightclub that will be plenty of variety! Plus guestlist and presale lines cut off at a certain time so going to multiple clubs in one night may not work out too well. There are party buses that do that if you are set on it though.
I would find a host and tell them what you want to accomplish and how much you are willing to spend. You will get much better deals going through a host than trying to do it yourself.

        Most hotels do bachelorette packages.

My wife did hers in Vegas and went to Wynn for the combo dinner, free entry into their clubs. Her party was 18 girls. She did Andrea's for dinner and then started out going to XS and then moving over to Surrender as for her group XS was way to packed. They opted not to do the add on bottle package deal as they had her do a burn book. Maid of honor had a party bus pick them up from the hotel, they then went to the Welcome to Vegas sign for pics and then on to Wynn.

Click on view packages and you can see the different dinners and scroll to the bottom for the add on's. You get the free entry into Surrender, they no longer include XS like they did in 2013, automatically by doing the dinner there:

Here is the link to Marquee also. Scroll down to see there pricing for the day club and night club pricing. This does not include dinner:

        http://bachelorette.marqueelasvegas.com/

Light Group also does one. Page 6 on the flip book starts the pricing guide:

        Hope this helps for starters.

Thanks for all the info everyone

I guess that was my actual question - would it be possible to still get a large group of girls on the guest lists for free entry despite the holiday weekend?

I have reached out to the hosts listed on this website for Hakkasan and XS with no response. Should I contact elsewhere?

As far as club hopping, I don't know - last time I was in Vegas several years ago that's what we did and just what I envisioned, I guess. I'm also kind of restless and cannot imagine staying in one venue for 4+ hours - last time we stayed out until 4, 5 AM and I think I'd go nuts in one place for that long, no matter how much fun it is. I suppose however that due to the holiday weekend we can't be too choosy unless we want to spend for it.

Hak with Calvin I wouldn't really bank on. The other part IMHO is that Hak is the worst for people who don't have a table.

Moving around to multiple clubs in 1 night during a holiday weekend is really going to be a push on the group. You're all dressed up, with heels and such, and bam...an hour or 2 in...ok, on to the next one. Now you have to either cab it or uber it, on a holiday weekend. Arrive at location to wait on the guest list line, if still viable at that time, along with everyone else at said club to hopefully get in. Now add will all of the girls in the group want to leave? If not then what?

I hate saying this but doing one of the club party bus deals like Sin City Club Crawl where you bounce through 3 or 4 clubs in a night might be an option. They have groupon deals often. It moves you around. Not much in top tier locations but it will move you around.

I did Sin City Club crawl in March and they brought us to Omnia when Afrojack was playing, so they're one of the better companies in that regard.

You can do the two club thing under one scenario. Get a hotel at the Wynn/Encore, go grab dinner there, right after dinner go to the XS hotel guest line at 10pm, get stamped, head to another hotel/spot, come back around 1am, and walk right in. I've done it a few times and it's very easy. Without that, forget about it.

I have been to LDW and MDW for the past few years and this is what I have experienced:

As long as you are willing to come to the club on time and wait, you can get in free/get comped at most places.
Exceptions are: EBC (daytime) on Saturday and Sunday and anywhere that Calvin Harris is playing. If they have guestlist, it will be very small and you will need to be there before it even opens.
Pretty much all of the other major places you won't have trouble getting in for free if you go on time. XS may only give you outdoor access however.

Usually the clubs finalize their guestlist policies a week prior so start asking promoters around then.

                    are you texting or emailing?
most guest list adds are day of
but you can reach out now to get familiar with hosts

My advice would be to pick a club for the night and stay there. You'll waste 1 to 2 hours moving clubs especially on a holiday weekend. plus you'll have to buy tickets for the second club because you'll miss the time cutoff. and you might even miss the presale time cutoff too because you'll most likely be switching after midnight. Which actually you shouldn't do anyway because you'd be switching right when the headliner is supposed to come on at 1-130ish.

Long answer of saying you probably shouldn't switch clubs.

Regarding getting guestlist, like the above poster said, it's doable. connect with a promoter before hand and chat. You'll have to arrive early, like 10-1030ish. No guestlist for anywhere that CH is playing and EBC either.
                      2011: Palazzo | Tao | Moon

                      2014: Venetian | Tao | Hak | EBC | XS

                      2015: Cromwell | Drai's | Palazzo | Tryst | XS | Omnia | Nightswim

OK thanks everyone that's really helpful. You have all convinced me to pick a place and stay there, haha.

If I wanted to go to Hakkasan the night Calvin Harris is playing I should just purchase tickets right? If I do that, is there any reason to still contact a promoter? Could we get any sort of an upgrade?

If we contact a promoter from XS to get on the guest list you don't think I would need tickets, even is Zedd is playing?

Where else can I find promoter info? I just emailed the ones on this site. Do you recommend text?

What are your thoughts on Drai's after hours? Need to contact a promoter or OK to just show up? I think we either tried to go there last time I was in Vegas or did go - it's a little fuzzy

What about Omnia, Tao - need to get on guestlist? I guess it doesn't hurt. We had zero problem getting into Tao last time, but again, wasn't a holiday

                        Appreciate everyone's input

With a presale ticket, you don't need to contact a promoter. Basically your options are to contact a promoter/host to get guestlist or table, or dont go that route and just get a presale ticket.

Zedd @ XS you don't need to worry about tickets unless you want to be inside the club. On busy days the people who go thru guestlist usually only have access to the outside, which kinda sucks but then again its free. if you really wanna be inside, just buy a ticket.

Omnia, guestlist should be available for all the events other than Calvin Harris.

Not sure if this site has a list of good promoters but theyre pretty easy to find if you google them or search on IG/twitter/yelp etc. It can be hard to tell if someone is trustworthy though

Sin City Club Crawl note: They're only doing it Thursday 9/1 on LDW. Not operating Fri/Sat (likely because of the holiday.) And I'll be on that Thursday club crawl myself, had a great time with them before.
