Next summer, I hope to live and work in Vegas for about 2 months promoting daylife. I used to have a friend who worked directly with cocktail servers to help them make their quotas. How can I do the same?

2 months probably isn't long enough to establish yourself in the industry, sorry. You could sling guest list spots for a third party promoter, but you'd be better off bartending off strip.
