  • Las Vegas first timer needs help! Which club friday 26th and sat 27th?

    Hi Guys,
first of all thanks for all the useful info on this forum. I really appreciate what you do.

We're 4 italian guys, 30 years old, first time in Vegas. We want to have an unforgettable time and to pick up some hot ladies. Simple.
We plan to reserve a table for both nights, our budget is roughly $1500-2000 per night.
Considering these premises, our plan would be:

Friday 26th: XS - Looks like a good club and we want to exploit the fact we have rooms upstairs to throw an afterparty if we meet some chicks. Please let me know if this a good idea or not.

Saturday 27th: Hyde/Marquee - Still deciding where to go, I'm open to suggestions. Hyde seems to have the highest female/male ration and to be full of hotties, but I could be wrong.

I really need your help, we do not want to miss on these nights.

    Thank you!

Light @ Mandalay Bay is opening Friday 26 April. If you want to be at a club that will have a large number of beautiful women -- then throw Light into the mix for Friday or Saturday. Hakkasan @ MGM is opening the week before (April 18).

    Personally, I would do:
Friday: Avicii @ Marquee or Nicky Romero @ Light
Saturday: Axwell @ Light or Calvin Harris @ Hakkasan

In my opinion, Hakkasan/Light/Marquee/XS will all have more hotties than Hyde.

To give you an idea of how popular Light is expected to be that weekend (and Hakkasan too), XS changed its DJ schedule for that Friday/Saturday. I also wouldn't worry about not having your room close by, because most girls will want to go back to their room anyway, rather than yours.

With only 4 people, you will not be able to afford one of the prime tables at these clubs, regardless of whether you are at XS/Light/Hakkasan/Marquee. There might be some people here on the forums willing to join up with your group to bring your costs down (see the GET CONNECTED forum). If you can join up with another small group, you might be able to get a good table together. It also helps because you can split the host/security/busboy tips.

For Light table reservations, contact Noah Ortiz on +1 323.919.6529.
For Marquee Nightclub reservations, contact Cliff Orr on +1 586.489.4531.
For Hakkasan reservations, contact Thomas Gorman on +1 702.340.6498.
For XS table reservations, contact Bobby Yeadon on +1 708.714.0280.

Some of them have WhatsApp, which you can use for free overseas (other than data usage). If you want me to contact someone for you to get pricing information, let me know.

If I was you, I would make sure to go to a pool party at least on Friday or Saturday. Pool parties are (almost) unique to Vegas and have girls dancing around in bikinis -- how could you resist? If you want pool party suggestions, let me know.

Firstly - forget this idea you have to go to a particular place to pick up girls. This is vegas. There's women everywhere. If you go out expecting this or that however its fairly obvious to most people and you will likely end up empty handed.

So club wise, I guess you want EDM (Theres no real house in vegas).

XS on Friday is a fair choice. If I were you however I would swap it around. Ive been Marquee and XS on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. XS is better on Saturday/Sunday and Marquee is better on Friday.

Go Marquee Friday and XS Saturday.

Your budget will get you a table, but a low end one for $1000 minimum spend. You will be right out in the sticks in Marquee and not in the main room. Outside in XS, again not in the main room. Remember the 28% tax in XS and the 38% tax in Marquee.

As for Hyde AND Marquee - wont happen. You'll need to be at Marquee latest 11pm. So there's little point going to Hyde as it becomes a club at 10:30pm. Hyde is a night of its own.

Finally - your budget. Its way too low mate. There is not a chance 4 guys are gonna have 2 bottles and make it last a whole night, especially if youre looking to attract the opposite sex. Double that AT LEAST. Remember you are getting into clubs at around 11pm, so you have 2 bottles of vodka by 11:30 lets say. They will last 30 minutes between 4 guys once the excitement of being in the club, the pouring of the drinks etc starts. You will be dry by 12:30 and then have another 3 or 4 hours to kill, most probably with girls you're looking to impress, who will also require drinks. You'll go through 4 bottles minimum I guarantee it.

        Hi guys,

thanks a lot for your replies. Considering what you both wrote, I think we'll increase our budget around 3 - 3.5K per night first.

Second I would change our plan as follow:

        Friday - Light
        Saturday - XS

I see your points and I am understanding that Vegas nightlife has to be enjoyed differently from what we're used to.
Also I will have a look on the GET CONNECTED section, to see if we can increase our party size/budget.

I would like to enjoy pool parties too, but we'll be too smashed from the night before and sunday we fly to San Francisco starting our California road trip.

I'm a pool person, so I'd do Light (spend most budget here maybe) Fri, do a pool Sat (budget some here).. Sat night wing it or go GA to XS if you couldn't afford a table. You gotta hit a pool!

To the OP - You know vegas you dont really get tired right? I suffer from hangovers as much as the next man, but because of the oxygen rich environment in most of the hotels you find yourself requiring alot less sleep than usual.

The times ive been I usually stay 5 nights and get in around 4-5am. 5 hour sleep and im up and wide awake heading to breakfast, quick freshen up and its pool party time for 11:30.

You'll be suprised how little sleep you require. It aint like Ibiza where youre in bed all day and cant cope.
