Hey All, I wanted to get the opinions of "Vegas People" as has been discussed recently here on the forums. I feel like guys in Vegas always wear the same thing, myself included, button down shirt, nice well fitting jeans and some good looking kicks. My question is, how are suits viewed these days? I am thinking about going for a good tailored suit, no tie kind of look? I have always avoided this in the past as it can feel/look too stuffy or corporate as I am not in my 20's anymore (actually 43) but like to look good when my wife and I hit the clubs. What are the thoughts out there?

Thanks for any thoughts or opinions, less than 2 weeks until the next trip to paradise!

Never done a full suit out there, though I am sure you can pull it off. Sometimes on nights that my wife and I have a table I will mix in a sport coat with jeans, just to look a little different than the masses. I usually wouldn't go with a coat without a table, I like to be able to take it off if I feel the need.

I think you will be fine if you choose to go suit. You are with your wife, so you are really just relying on the fact she likes the look. I don't think you'll see the type of judgment you might get in Miami or NY if your outfit is different, most people in Vegas are there to party and if you have that attitude you'll meet new people and be fine.

A well fitting suit with no tie can be a good look (in my opinion). Hell....a well fitting anything already puts you a step above most guys out there!
I agree with what ponch says. With a table, I think with a table it's even easier since you can take off the coat and set it somewhere. I've never done the suit look but I will often times go with jeans and a sport coat, and it seems to go over well.

I always do the suit look every time I go to a Vegas club. Nobody has ever said I look stuffy and I have never felt out of place. Just trying to keep it classy as fuck haha. The only issue I had was it was a bit hot on July 4th walking to the club, especially in spots where there isn't a lot of room and tons of people.

I wouldn't do a suit in GA. Just way too many people and you are gonna be HOT during pool season. If you have a table hell yeah go for it.

Suit in gen pop won't work as Dex mentions. It will be ruined with all the drinks spilt on it

If you are with your wife, and she likes suits, and you have a table, go suit. A good fitting suit on a man is incredibly sexy. As a woman, I dig a guy in a suit. However, as others have mentioned... it is HOT in the summer, and if you are at an outdoor venue, you may get too hot... it is NOT sexy to take off your jacket and be super sweaty underneath. I think you see a little bit of everything in Vegas... Its a great place to express yourself fashion wise... and wear things you might not be able to wear comfortably at home.

"Classy as fuck"... Classy. LOL!!! FYI- I am just teasing, since you don't know me. "fuck" happens to be my favorite word in the English language... so versatile. So I know exactly how fucking classy you mean.

You can't go wrong with a tailored suit, specially with a table. I have done it in Vegas, you'll be getting looks of admiration, if anything lol
