I am curious what you guys think are the best lounges in Vegas. I normally get bottle service at clubs like 1oak, marquee, tryst when it was open. I prefer hip hop but am open to other stuff. This time it is just me and one buddy going and he does not like the big clubs so I am thinking about looking at options of some cool trendy happening lounges. Any suggestions?

lots of options. Depends what sort of lounge you want. For a view, checkout Ghostbar at Palms, or MIX and Foundation Room, both at Mandalay Bay. As Chris said, Cosmo has a great bar scene - Chandelier, Bond etc.. Hyde at Bellagio on 'non club' nights is a great lounge spot too.

Reiterate Cosmopolitan - and add Rose.Rabbit.Lie to the list. If you don't mind a generally older crowd and are looking for a really mellow and upscale spot, either Petrossian in Bellagio or Parasol Up/Down in Wynn.

Cosmo definitely. Going out a ways I have also enjoyed DCR down at Fremont.

Another vote for Cosmo. Bellagio also has a couple, Lily Bar and Petrossian.

In regards to Foundation Room, I'd like some clarification. I thought it was a members only club? Can non-members just pay cover or get on a list for a Friday or Saturday?
I ask because I'm staying at Mandalay Bay for two nights in June and was thinking of checking it out. Thanks in advance!
There's always something waiting at the end of the road, if you're not willing to see what it is, you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place..........

It's relatively new. 1st floor, west end. If you're coming in from the taxi drop, it's a little past Vesper Bar on the right side, right by the high limit slot room.

MIX was refurbished and is now called Skyfall at Delano. I haven't been to the new one but MIX was always a good lounge. It's a cab ride, but Ghostbar has a nice loungy vibe, great view, chill music especially before 11.

Foundation Room doesn't require a membership, but you do have to be on the guest list.
