  • Hyde (Bellagio)

Staying at Bellagio May 6-9 for my bachelor party, and I have a few questions about Hyde for the experts:

    (1) Is there any way to predict when XIV will happen? How far in advance is this typically announced? I have my fingers crossed that Hyde will announce a XIV session for Sunday May 8, allowing us to go brunch-->XIV-->Nightswim-->all time legendary status.
    (2) Is Hyde any good on a Friday?
    (3) Is Hyde any good on a Saturday?
    (4) Are pre-sales a decent option or does the layout stongly favor bottle service?

Considering Hyde as an easy (in our hotel) and relatively cheap option to party one night.

Hyde is a lounge on Thursday. XIV should be over for the season in Vegas and opening again in LA by your trip. Hyde is always a good option on weekends in my opinion. You can do GA, but due to the size I prefer bottles there.

Hyde is a great party. It's better on Fridays than Saturday's. They get a lot of the LA folk there and for some reason the party is crazier Friday night. I've done both and its definitely better Friday's.

Maybe cos it's people's first night of their weekend it gets crazy I dunno.

Definitely need bottles it's too small for GA. you get excellent tables for your money on a 2 bottle minimum. It's worthwhile going as you get more bang for your buck there than at the tier 1s and Friday and Saturday is good everywhere.

Re: XIV that's winter only they don't run in summer in Vegas.

I would hit up Chad Noyes. His contact information should be on the main page.

OK, looks like I better put a couple of more bottles into the budget for Friday night at Hyde...

Too bad about XIV. Thought that it might still be running in early May, but I forget, that's 100% SUMMER in Vegas. Yeeeeaaah.

Another vote for Hyde. The Tuesday night party was off the chain the last time I was there. I'm sure the weekend is just as solid. I'm not always big on BS, but a table at Hyde is a good investment because the place is small. Once the place gets packed, forget about even trying to get to the dance floor. It can get annoying if you don't have some real estate.

Anyone ever done guestlist? Surprisingly, the guestlist(on discotech app) says guys are free before 11pm even on Fridays/Saturdays. Think a group of guys would have a hard time getting in that early on the guestlist? I know most think that BS is the way to go, but being able to check out the party for free sounds good to me. What time does the place get busy?

If you are staying at the Bellagio, you shouldn't have to pay to get in. Last time I was at Hyde, I was staying at the Bellagio, and just walked up to the center rope, showed my room key card, and I was in in about five minutes. This was around 1AM with a pretty long line.

Now if you are trying to get in a big group of guys, that's a different story. If you are all hotel guests, you should still get in for free, but I can't speak to the wait. I'm sure a handshake to the host at the rope could move things along for your group.

Don't expect to get a lot of guys in on guest list. Hyde stacks the club early with ladies as you'd expect, not many guys were getting in that way. Hyde isn't that big so it will definitely be on by 11:00 or 11:30.

I was thinking of doing dinner reservations and then staying as they open up the club to GA and BS. Would this avoid me having to pay entry fee? Is this even possible?

I wouldnt ever bet on Guestlist unless you're an idiot. Guestlist is basically just queuing for longer, and HOPING you'll get in. You'll still pay, and if youre a guy youll pay over the odds.

As its been stated a few times, Hyde is one place where you absolutely need a table. Its too small to not have one and it gets PACKED. I mean shoulder to shoulder barely able to move packed.

Hyde is awesome, I've done BS on Fridays and prefer that over Saturday.

More intimate, I prefer the music selection (more top 40/hip hop), and pretty attractive crowd. Always fun!
