  • A few club questions

Getting a plan together for an April bachelor party with a group of 7 guys. I have some questions all over the board so forgive my ADD.

    DRAIS

What are we generally talking to get club level inside at Drais on Saturday? I know this will vary some depending on guest that night. I gotta assume you will not pay what they have listed on their website. Also if some in the group want a lower min how are the upstairs tables? We are a group of guys obviously wanting to be in the action so I assume we would feel secluded up their? How is the spacing, room to bring some guests up?

I had a great time at Marquee a long time ago, how is it these days? I assume still a great night out.

Thoughts on Light? Never been, will this have a good crowd and vibe? Worth checking out and spending a valuable night in Vegas on it?

    Thanks for your service people.

Drai's - depends on who is performing, and whether you want dance floor or something else. But, generally, $3k min would be about what to expect for dance floor. There are some cheaper tables, like the patio dance floor and 1st floor off of the dance floor, that may be able to be had for $2k. Don't bother with upstairs for your group, I think you'd be disappointed.

Marquee is still a top tier club, but I've personally never preferred it to XS and prices are usually about the same.

Light is an awesome venue with a terrible dance floor. The sound and visual production is incredible. It's also generally pretty affordable. If you can swing a table (I like the second tier, which gets you off the dance floor but still a great view), you'll have an awesome night.

I also really like Hyde as a cheaper option if you can't get the budget working for any of your other options. It's smaller, but the DJs always play an awesome mix, the club is very cool aesthetically, and the talent is still very good.

Agreed with Chris on Drai's. I wouldn't bother with upstairs at Drai's. If budget is a concern the backwall tables on the main level can be had for reasonable amounts and would be far superior (in my opinion) than being upstairs.

        Agree with the above.

We booked an upstairs table as we flew in from the UK that day and wasn't sure how the group would react to the time difference so wanted to keep the min low in case of no shows or early leavers. As soon as we were seated we asked to be moved downstairs. We asked for an elevated dance floor table, unfortunately all were taken....we were offered a patio dance floor table which we took. Plenty of traffic and footsteps from the dance floor - far better than being stuck upstairs out of the way.

I would say your decision would be dictated by your budget. With these 3, I'd say where ever you have the best real estate within budget is a good way to go. Light is one of my favorites, and visually Drais/Light prob the best of these 3. If it comes to the music/Dj then check the lineup and go with the budget from there.
