Suggestions - Final 4 Weekend, budget Q

Hi Guys -

It has been a while since I visited the forums so was hoping people could let me know what they think. I am helping out an acquaintance for their upcoming trip for the Final 4 weekend (April 2 - April 4).

They have a group of 6-7 guys and are clueless about Vegas clubs, I am no expert but I want to steer them in the right direction. They are trying to figure out their budget to do BS one of the nights. I am guessing Final 4 weekend will have higher table mins?

Let me know if my thinking is on track:

Estimated $550 per bottle, I suggested at least 4 bottles = $2,200
30% tax = $660
Shake = $300
Estimated All In total = $3,160

Maybe a tier 2 spot? Any people have suggestions/advice? Not sure what the table would look like or where at. Let me know and thx for the help!

That's a solid number. Final 4 weekend should be busy yes, but not crazy unless there is a fight.

Looks like I'm gonna be in Vegas that weekend too, with probably the same amount of people. Where is the group planning to stay?

Does the all in budget I laid out make sense? What venue would be good with that budget and what kind of table would they expect?

Do you guys have a music preference?

If not look into hyde, marquee and hip hop room at omnia. Drais will have some sort of special concert and minimums will be higher plus 42% on top. Main room at omnia, xs and hakkasan will be out of your budget. Marquee there should be a good chance to get cloud bar at the very least or backwall if they arent completely slammed. Hyde is always a good time and your min will be solid. Hip hop room at omnia only has upper dancefloor and dancefloor tables. 2k should be good for an upper df depending on main room dj.

The 30% tax is that the state tax of 8.1% plus tip to the waitress? I don't see tipping the waitress anywhere in your numbers.

If they do autogratuity it will be 20% of the minimum as a tip to the waitress. Normally our group just figures 40% on top of the minimum so that it covers the tax of8.1%, 20% tip to the waitress and 10% in case they add LET tax, Not sure if LET is still being added as I just give the POC the money needed.

Are they locked in for a club???Since the pools are open you may want to look in that direction also since you get more bang for your buck.

No pref on music, these are Vegas newbs so a Tier 2 would still be impressive to these guys.

The better Tier 2s are surrender (only if in main room) tao and hyde. 1oak and bank are great for deals but in terms of production value and dj talent you wont be getting much.

The hip hop room at omnia is quite large for a side room, it is about the size of 1oak and it is a good party. Plus you can walk to and from the main room no problem.

I mention all the nightclubs and pools so you are aware of all venues.
Pricing will vary based on DJ and day of week.
For example XS will be much cheaper on a Sunday/Monday and you will get bottle specials.
Also the non headliner events will have lower mins and bottle specials.
Don't forget strip clubs also do bottle specials during certain hours.

Drais isn't terrible that weekend. I just checked Drais and on April 2nd, and for the south elevated VIP booth, the spend agreement is $2898, based on 7 people. This is if you book directly with the club.

I like the suggestions of Marquee, Hyde, Surrender - What kind of tables to expect w/ a $2k min spend?

Which would you choose out of these options... I am guessing Saturday night over Friday?
