Discotech App as a pricing guide

Hey guys, wondered what you all thought of the discotech app as a proxy for host pricing? In assuming it's gonna be slightly inflated, but using it as something to create options for my group. For example it says marquee DF table would be $2.5k min and even I know that seems unrealistically low on a sat. Thanks in advance

Always contact a host directly at the venue. Using that app or apps like that, are like using an independent host. Inflated pricing, or not getting desired location. Best deals come from the hosts.

Yes, but as OP suggested, its a pretty decent guide as far as pricing is concerned. Gives you a good ballpark to work with, but don't book directly through it. My experience is that prices are generally pretty close, but ya, if you care about location at all, work with a host.

May is the worst time to ballpark anything. You can get a generic quote to anything based on the group size but i would take that with a grain of salt until the month of. So many things going on in may and pools havent opened. whatever you are seeing right now will be double-triple once May comes.

Definitely some truth there, but honestly I can see using it before you contact a host just to make sure you are not getting screwed if you don't work with someone you have built trust with. It really is pretty accurate, but yes, a lot can change between now and May. Personally I have not seen much of a difference in the app and quotes, but definitely don't book thru the app.

Yeah cheers fellas, as I say, I just wondered. I defo won't use it to book, theres enough host details here to start sending messages etc in a couple months time.
