  • Girls night! Club Virgins in our 30's!

    Hello!

I am looking for any suggestions on the best night club for 2 women in their early 30's to go this Saturday night (April 6th). We've never been to a club in Vegas and are looking for something with a great view of the strip and enough room to walk around and mingle. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
We're looking for a pool party the next day too (Sunday the 7th) if you have any suggestions on that as well!

    Thank you!!

If you are after a view more than "opulence" of a club, then:
    (a) Hyde @ Bellagio has a nice view of the Bellagio fountains and could be a good option for you. Anthony Connelly (702.350.4070) should be able to help you out.
    (b) Chateau @ Paris has an outdoor patio with a stellar view of the strip. Not sure who you should contact though about that.

Wet Republic @ MGM on 7 April will be the winner as far as pool parties go this Sunday. Calvin Harris is on the decks. Female presale tickets are 30 each: http://ticketdriver.com/wetrepublic/...ts/event/82913 Snap them up now to make your entry a lot easier/cheaper on the day
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

I'd add Moon or Ghostbar to the list of options. Both meet your "great view" requirement. Moon will give you the club feel while Ghostbar will have more of a lounge feel to it. Both have an outdoor balcony if you need to get some fresh air.

Contact Chad Noyes - 630.903.1993 about guest list

Also, if interested in Chateau contact: Nicole Tanzer 951-314-5782

Moon tends to get mixed reviews here. I've only been once but I had a great time. It's a smaller venue and it's older so it won't have the "wow" factor of the XS, Marquees of the world. However with that comes a better ability to get a good deal on a table in a good location (if that's your thing). We had a dance floor table that was very reasonably priced and they do have an outdoor area that gives you a great view of the whole strip.

Thanks for the input! I thought for sure Pure would have made this list...no?

I guess the Pure patio would work...the patio at Hyde is so awesome though. You're basically in the fountains. Pic I took on my last trip below...

We're at Pure Saturday night with table service. Good view outside and not ultra young crowd like XS or Marquee. We also booked daybed for Calvin Harris at Wet Republic on Sunday.

If interested in admission to either contact Thomas Gorman on here by text at 702-340-6498. He'll hook you up - he's been great at setting up this one part of our weekend. He will know us so tell him to send you by and say Hi to a fellow JC member and have a free drink. We won't be finishing 2 or 3 bottles ourselves at each venue!! We're a very small group.
Supporting Vegas annually for over a decade.
Jet(1 Oak), XS, Pure, Bank, Hakkasan, Light, Tryst, Chateau, Haze, Omnia, Marquee, Wet Republic, Liquid, DayLight, Bare, Drais' Beach....so far.
                2015 trips - March 11th to 17th & April 5th to 14th.

                  +1 for Hyde

I always had trouble coming up with a good place to hang out when I was in town with ladies like the OP (early 30's that do not frequent to clubs) but Hyde has been the deal maker for me (especially the spot from which Chuck took the pic above).

As far as the pool party goes, I don't know if Encore Beach has opened yet, but if it has I would highly recommend it. Not as wild as Wet but it is more "opulent" without losing its cool.

I would go for Hyde, we took a couple of similar age girls there in the summer, and they loved it, hard to beat the backdrop.

dmihalka, I'd vote for Moon/Ghostbar at the Palms. Start at Ghostbar (the lounge-type setting) and then head over to Moon in the other Palms tower.

Re. Chateau- I stopped there on a weeknight and was not very impressed. However, that was over a year ago and things change quickly in the Vegas club scene.

And although it's not always a crowd favorite in this forum, you might want to check out Voodoo Lounge at Rio, kitty-corner from the Palms. Yes it's more of a locals/older crowd but the view is awesome... and seriously do you want to deal with drunk college guys (who have been slamming Jaeger and bud lights in their hotel room) slamming into you all night? That can happen anywhere of course, but there's more of a preponderance of it on the Strip.
