  • Moon vs Ghostbar vs Rain

Are all these clubs connected? Very confused about which club is which! Two years ago I took an elevator to the
55th floor (Moon I think?), but there were also acrobats flying above (which I heard Rain does?).... and we went upstairs to an outside balcony (is this a different club?).

Once we got off the elevator we didn't have to "re-enter" any clubs. Place was huge.

Can someone explain which club is which?!

Rain is closed (except maybe special events).

Moon and Ghostbar are both at the top of different towers at Palms. Moon is more of a club while GB is more of a lounge (with exceptions). Both have an outside balcony. None of the clubs are physically connected. Moon used to have Playboy Club a level below it, which was essentially a lounge to gamble in, but that is now closed.

Sounds like you were having a good time and all the clubs sort of blended together!

The only clubs that are/were connected are Moon and the Playboy Club.

Rain Nightclub (on the ground/casino floor of the Palms) is now closed. They are remodeling it and will be reopening the club as something else at a TBD date. Nothing is connected to Rain.

Ghostbar is a lounge/club on the 55th floor of the regular hotel tower. You can access this venue via a line/elevator on the casino floor.

Moon is on the top floor of the Palms Fantasy Tower, which is across the casino from the other venues I just mentioned. The Playboy club was connected to this club by an elevator, but it is not open anymore.

I was staying at Palms place in March and went to check out "The View" on our way back from a concert at Mandalay on a Saturday night. We had some friends that wanted to check out Moon as well. They are more into Hip Hop than EDM.
The view is a lounge that is now in the same space the Playboy club was in. Sorry to be Blunt, but it sucks. It looks almost bare. They have the same bar on the far side. No more gambling tables. No Dj, and this was a Saturday night. It is still attached to Moon via escalator to go up, but you must use the elevator to get down from Moon. The place was empty and we didn't stay more than five minutes. Here's the worst part. We told the person at the rope we just wanted to go to the lounge and not Moon at first. He said to just let the cashier know that when we get there. Can you say bait and switch. They won't let you up to the lounge unless you pay the cover for moon because they are attached. Moon was well...Moon. Just not a fan of the music they play, and I never realized how small it really is.
I like staying at palms place, but I go other places for nightlife. They could do so much better.

How was the crowd at Moon that night?

Crowd that night was ok...maybe I'm just spoiled by the high energy EDM clubs now. There were lots of open tables even on the dance floor, but the dance floor was pretty full with people. Rest of the club was empty though. I have been there several years ago on a Saturday night and the whole place was packed and no empty tables. I just find it odd for a Saturday night. Maybe other stuff was going on around town I wasn't aware of that pulled people away.
