Best Nightclub nobody is talking about

Hi all,

as a group of six guys from Germany, we will fly to Vegas for my best friends bachelor party in May. We want to party in the best clubs - just like everybody else does - and I found great answers to my questions on this website, so our plan for Saturday night is pretty much completed. Thank you!

Nevertheless, I guess there are many more clubs other than the ones that are mentioned frequently (Marquee, XS, Pure, etc.) and I was asking myself what the best clubs are that nobody is talking about.

I would like to keep the trip relatively open and don't have a fixed plan for all nights, so are there nightclubs which you could go to rather spontaneously on Friday and/or Sunday night? Or is it totally naive to believe you go to any club between 11pm and midnight and not wait in line for three hours?

Well Hakkasan and The Light at Mandalay Bay are opening up this month so keep those in mind also for your upcoming trip.

EDM is great and we will for sure spend at least one night at one of the top clubs like the Marquee or XS (or maybe Hakkasam, thank you for mentioning it!).

But what about other, maybe smaller clubs? I read about Haze, Rain, The Bank and Hyde. In some other discussion they were called tier2-clubs. Are they a good option as well?

1oak, hyde and haze are great options also. They are considered tier 2 but doesn't mean you won't have as much fun as the bigger clubs, some people actually prefer it for a change of pace. You can get better deals for bottle service at these clubs for a better spot if your group cares bout that stuff.

Rain I believe is now closed and only open on fridays for a salsa theme? Not sure, someone correct me on that.

I'd say Body English. It's pulling decent DJs and doesn't really ever get mentioned.

Rain is closed now. When we talk about Tier 2 clubs in Vegas you have to realize that things are relative. Many of them would one of if not the top club in most cities. Especially during the summer almost every club in Vegas is packed. Tier 1 clubs are defined by their size, their general opulence and the DJ's they have as residents.

That was what I thought: you'll probably have great parties in the other clubs as well. Are the lines equally long or can you get in relatively quickly if you show up before midnight?

Other clubs you would recommend?

I think the one's that rarely get mentioned that I enjoy are

- The Act (crazy performances during the night)
- Chateau (or on Wednesdays when we we call it Chitsheau) - It's a few stories up right under the eiffel tower great view
- Body English (after hours)
Yes, when you come you will prob have to hit Light and Hakkasan, those two will be the hot spots probably.

I didn't see you mention if you are doing bottle service on the other nights, or just general admission. If you're not doing bottle service, I think it can be difficult for 6 guys to just walk in to a club. Not being a guy, I don't know exactly how it works, but I think getting there early will help. Like 10-10:30pm. At the tier 2 clubs, you might be able to get on a guest list and tip the door guy to skip the line. Maybe split into groups of 3 and 3, and find some hot girls to walk in with?

For group of all guys, presales would be the easiest, cheapest way for everyone to get in hassle free.
I know Marquee, XS, Tryst, Surrender, Hakkasan, Light, TAO & Lavo and their alternative dayclubs all have presales.

Clubs like 1oak, haze, liquid, Pure I would suggest the OP to contact a host for walk-in with handshake.

being a group of six guys is certainly an issue we will address exactly the way you suggested. We will do bottle service Saturday night and for the other nights we will either split up our group or find a group of hot girls to walk in with. I have been in Vegas before when I was an exchange student and we always met nice girls and went to the clubs with them. I hope nothing has changed regarding that. ;-)

keep in mind the guys will still have to pay cover even with 1:1 ratio and if the girls aren't on guestlist, they will have to pay cover also (usually $20) which most of the time girls don't want to do so they hit up promoters for an all-girls list and guys can't walk in with girls on that list so they'll probably ditch the guys.

Like I said, presales are the best guarantee for entry with 6 guys, no need to split up, no need to go find girls. Get there around 10-10:45 and you're in the club within 5-10 minutes tops. Most of the top clubs also have a seperate line for presales so no need to get mixed up in the chaos of the general admission line.
