  • The "Best Location" Thread

    All,

Just trying to compile a list of people's favourite locations / best value tables. Obviously the aim is to try and get recommendations for good spots in each club / pool other (and not just "dancefloor" or "grand cabana"). Even if there's somewhere you recommend people NOT going, that would be useful too.

I'll try and update this first post with everyone's contributions. Hopefully we get a few people involved so that this becomes a good resource for people trying to figure out which table to ask for.

    NIGHTCLUBS

    The Act
    • NOT the balcony

    1OAK
    • AnthonyHyde: Behind DJ booth > Dancefloor
    • DeX: 20/60 have stripper poles in front
    • NimaH: 22, 23, 60

    The Bank
    • 2nd level tables (1-12, 20-29)

    Bagatelle

    Body English

    Gallery

    Ghostbar * Moon

    Hakkasan
    • To be updated when open.

    Haze
    • (from kazflair): the Mezz is a VIP and hot girl only area. The hosts have to walk the girls up there and they will literally radio me to remove any ratchettes that sneak in somehow. With that said, my other fav spot is tables 23-26, the ones below the mezz. I also like 12-13 the tables behind the DJ and table 11 cuz it's huge and only one booth
    • NOT upper level unless you like a good view of the performer and have a group that wants to do their own thing.
    Hyde

    LAVO
    • Table 20/21

    LAX

    Light Nightclub
    • To be updated when open.

    Marquee Las Vegas
    • Tier 2: 44/45 or 46/47
    • Dancefloor: 64/65
    • Outside: daybed near the grand cabanas (the ones with a couch on each side of a little table)
    • NOT boom box room, unless you are actually after hip-hop

    PURE

    Surrender
    • Patio: 30/33 (or is it 38/39?) - anyway, the patio tables immediately outside the exit to the inner part of Surrender (ocam)
    • Dancefloor: main room directly behind DJ (ocam)
    • NOT in the cabanas outside (ocam)

    TAO
    • Moat area: from Chris Traer "Either the corner tables or the 40s section which is closest to the catwalk"
    • 63, 64, 65 (dancefloor). Sneaky good spots when there is a performance

    Tryst
    From another thread:
    • 530/535: In my opinion, best spot in the club. You will have the best night of your life here.
    • 600/605: Another amazing location. Just a step below 530/535.
    • 700 or 220: If you're not sitting inside around the dance floor, I would highly recommend these tables, especially if you are on a budget. If you're a group of guys looking to meet girls, believe it or not, this is an incredible location. You get a lot of traffic, you have easy access to the dance floor, and you can go back and forth all night. On a busy night, these are excellent tables.
    • 630: I had this table with 6 guys on a Saturday night. Honestly, it sucked. This table is way away from the action, and the table is also carved into the wall, so it's kind of hidden. This is not a good table for meeting girls. I would recommend this spot for couples if you want a more private area.
    • 300: I've had this table for a bachelor party. Fun, but not too great. It's kind of out of the way but you get a lot of room. Not a lot of traffic in this location. A good area if you're looking to get away from the action and spread out.
    XS
    • Outside: 725/730 or 850/855 if a smaller group (if min quoted is less than backwall, otherwise go for backwall (100s/200s tables))

    POOLS

    BARE

    Daylight Beach Club
    • To be updated when open.

    Encore Beach Club
    • Beach couch right next to the pool, near the shower (if you have up to 6 people), otherwise go for a daybed if you have 6-10 (ocam)
    • NOT lillypads if you want to eat, but otherwise they are good cheap options right in the middle of the party (ocam)

    Liquid Pool

    Marquee Dayclub
    • Grand Cabana 12, the first GC, a little set back from the DJ booth but you have all the space near the ramp to yourself.
    • Cabana: the fourth cabana from the bathroom right by the space for the bungalow entrance. Great view of both pools, the DJ booth, 2 chairs and easy bathroom access

    Palms Pool

    Rehab

    Tao Beach
    • Couches alongside the pool

    Venus

    Wet Republic
    • Daybed near entrance
    • Ground level cabanas along the big pool

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Not a bad idea for a thread although it's very subjective. I was on 845 or 850 at XS last year and enjoyed it but preferred being inside.

    Tao - Moat area agree.

Tao Beach - couches alongside the pool are good.

Did XS this past weekend and had what I believe was 860---basically right outside on the patio to the left of the dj booth if facing it....for a small group it was well worth it and had a great experience....security was very helpful

Problem with the Surrender patio tables (right outside to right if facing dj booth) is the crowd pushes the ropes so much throughout the night that it makes for a poor experience if the place is packed. I wonder if it would be better with a good tip to security...curious to hear other's impressions of those tables

Does anyone have and info about Haze to add to this thread?
In particular the best table or area for the money for four or six guys on a Friday.

          Thanks

I've set up 2 bungalows at surrender for 40 people after my wedding at the Wynn and I'm looking for some input on this. Porter Robinson is the DJ that night and I'm just wondering if we will be too far from the action. We have a big group so the bungalows seemed like the best option. Any input would be appreciated!

Not to be creepy, but is the wedding May 11 or May 25? Because if May 25, that's Memorial Day Weekend and the crowds will be large everywhere. The Encore Beach Club section should have a lot more people than usual.

Secondly, is it a ground floor or second floor bungalow? Thirdly, why did you opt for bungalows rather than cabanas?

The wedding is May 11th, and the bungalows are on the ground level. We have the 2 bungalows that are close to the black jack tables. We opted for the bungalows because they were bigger and I knew that I wanted to be close to the gaming pavilion. I was thinking that since we had such a big group it probably wouldn't matter if its not as crowded and I've heard porter brings in a pretty good crowd. The only other option I was considering was trying to do something at xs but I don't know if they have anything similar to the bungalows? I like the idea of having our own bathrooms and such a large space.

There are also cabanas at XS -- not sure how many people you can fit in each one, but you will need 2 at least for 40 people. Afrojack is there that night, so I expect it will be more expensive than Surrender. Send a text to Bobby Yeadon on 708.714.0280 to get some pricing info.

For Haze... What ever you do, don't go on the upper level Unless you like a good view of the performer and have a group that wants to do their own thing. It has nice tables but not a lot of hot girls up there unless you bring em up. Everything is good downstairs except the lounge back room, Which is not that bad if you get a deal.

Ok great thanks for the help I'll definitely contact him! I guess there is no chance of getting something inside with that large of a group? I just can't decide which is going to be a better option.

Depends on your budget - you can get everyone inside, but it will probably cost you just as much as your wedding haha

Are the 63-65 tables at TAO, dance floor tables?

Yep, that bullet is misleading. I'll fix that.
