  • Hakkasan Nightclub to open April 18th

Not sure if it was mentioned before, but looks like Hakkasan has now an official opening date. Their website confirms it too, not sure though if this will be a soft opening or the Grand Opening Weekend.

Interesting Article with some inside as to what to expect. Absolutely can't wait

Sounds to me then that it will be a soft opening, makes me wonder if they will have the Grand Opening weekend coincide with the opening of the restaurant on May 3, which is coincidentally also the weekend of the next Mayweather fight at MGM. That would make for one crazy weekend at MGM.

Soft opening or not, ticket prices on Wet Republic's website for the 20th (Saturday) and 21st (Sunday) are $75 for males and $30 for females. I'd expect big name DJs for those prices, considering Calvin Harris is $40/$20 on the 7th. And if they decide to go big for Wet, no reason not to bring out heavy hitters for the nightclub too.

i am definately going to be at Hakkasan for MDW... can't wait. been staying at MGM for years just to be close to Wet Republic and now Hakkasan too. this is shaping up to be the best summer yet.

haha, last year so many people were complaining about Wet and how there's no dj's and this year its going to go off and probably too expensive for those same people.

I heard from Thomas Gorman that they expect to be 'Fully Functional' on the 18th, which means to me they'll be open for business.

They will be Open Sundays as well - it'll be their Industry Night.

Contact Thomas for tables - - he can provide with a quote, but a word of warning... the Table Minimums are not for the faint of heart (or wallet).

Yup, they haven't released the performer yet for the 20th and 21st, but at that price point, expect it to be Tiesto or Deadmau5. Edit: This is regarding WET, not HAK
