XS and advance/online tickets?

There are six of us (5 guys, 1 girl). We want to see Hard Rock Sofa (next Friday). Our plan is to just show up when doors open, get ticketed/stamped/whatever, enter, leave, and come back when things get going. Is there an expedited/alternate re-entrance line similar to Marquee? Does anyone foresee any problems with this plan?

There's a big hitch to this plan as well. One of the guys won't be flying into Vegas until 1030pm, and he would be showing up on his own later than the rest of us. There's an idea that he could buy an online ticket to help get him in faster, but I noticed on the site it says to show up to a "Wanticket" area before 1030 if you do so. The question is this - how does the advanced ticket purchase work, particularly if you show up after 1030?

It would help to know what happens if you show up before 1030 too because that's a route we all are also considering. Should we expect to spend any more than the online price to enter? Does that change after 1030?

Presales are only $35 each for a Friday night in vegas. That is the cheapest your going to get into XS!
I would expect the door charge to be $50+ a guy. I have seen events start at $35 online and go $50+ at the door. Plus the General Admission-pay at the door-line is always usually a slow moving disaster.

In term of in and out-reentering- I don't understand where your going to go? Do you have a room at the Encore your going to go back to? Are you going to Botero? Are you going to drink in the parking lot? I would go planning to stay in and not reenter just because seems like a waste of time to leave and come back.

On the late arrival he should be ok with a wanticket.

Basically with wantickets- the club opens around 10:30-11pm and they like you to go in when it opens. If you get there later you might have to wait IF the club hits capacity. "XS reserves the right to decline entry due to capacity issues, guests will be asked to wait until doors re-open."

Generally if your whole group got there at 1130pm/12 you should be ok. The only reason I say this is because its not a Holiday weekend/not a big name DJ.

Keep in mind Hard Rock is going to play from around 1-3am.

True with the prices there. Wanttickets for Xs is usually always good. Marquee only sells em on their website is always at least 50 bucks.

That plan is perfectly fine since it's not a holiday weekend so re-entering the club when it starts to get going should be fine, if anything it should be a 1-2 min wait in the re-entry line. If you ask any of the security outside/promoters they'll point you to it.

The guy that's coming in late should definitely buy a presale ticket online and use that for entry since he won't be stamped. Advanced tickets get priority over g/a so if it does get packed by the time he gets there. He'll get expedited faster than him taking a chance with g/a line around that time.

To be honest, I think all the guys should buy presale cause the ratio in your group is not all that great so guys won't get reduced cover so Wantickets can easiliy end up being cheaper than cover at door that night. For the one girl, I would say have her contact someone for a all girls guestlist if it's available that night.

I wouldn't wait till 5 minutes before the headline DJ comes on to try to get back in that's for sure.. Im sure if you go on a holiday weekend you'll see how packed it is by the time you get there at 10-10:30 and assume that the chances of the club hitting capacity by 11:30-12 are pretty high
