Marquee - Better to go on a Friday or a Saturday night?

Hey everyone,

I'm going to be out in Vegas from April 11th-April 15th. I'm trying to decide between going to Marquee on Friday the 12th (Benny Benassi) or the 13th (Avicii). I'd rather go see Avicii than Benassi, but from some of the reviews I get the impression that it gets jam packed on Saturdays.

Is Marquee much more crowded on Saturdays as opposed to Fridays? And does anyone have an idea of what the ratio typically is in the club - from some of the pictures I saw of the dance floor it looked like 80% guys...

I'll be out there that same weekend and will be headed to Marquee that Friday.

Avicii is always a big draw, but Saturdays in Vegas are always more busy than Fridays. So to answer your question, YES it will be more packed on the 13th than the 12th.

Are you by any chance staying at Cosmo? If so, you would get in Friday for free, if that make a difference for you. Also if interested Bottle service, mins would be lower for Benassi.

In my opinion, if you have no preference in DJ, I say do Friday and head elsewhere on Saturday.

Definitely NOT packed with dudes. Great ratio. Tier 1 clubs can be selective. Never ever use online pics of clubs as a guide.

I'm thinking about Surrender for the other night - they have Eric Prydz on Friday and Bassnectar on Saturday. I think I'd rather see Prydz - but if Marquee is going to be slammed I might do Surrender Saturday. I went there on a Wednesday once and felt like even on a Saturday there will still be a good amount of breathing room in the outdoor EBC area. Wish I was staying at the Cosmo, but I'm staying at PH. I won't be doing bottle service either - as it'll be just me and one friend. I know Marquee has that outdoor area - would it be easy enough to head out there to get some air every now and then? I thought I read that they sometimes lockdown the dance floor...

Yeah it happens often on busy nights. You can only fit so many people on the dancefloor so they have the doormen block off the entrance to the dancefloor.

I've had pretty good luck with bouncers letting me into the dancefloor area when its closed off. maybe its the vest and tie, who knows haha.
