Going with the Wife Mar. 18-23

The wife and I are going to be in Vegas that monday through saturday (staying at the Cosmo) and looking at places to go at night pretty much all week. I figured this would be the best place to ask some advice.

We may want to hit up a club or two but not really willing to stand in line for an hour. What is the best way to avoid this? Are clubs willing to "cater" to a husband and wife. Last time I went, I went with my boys and she went with her girls and the girls had promoters chasing them down on the street to put them "on the list"

If we can not do a club without having to wait, what about lounges? Any cool walk up lounges that will have a dj, and playing top 40/hip hop that you guys can recommend?

Agreed. I too will be staying at Cosmo on the 18th & 19th with my girlfriend. A buddy of mine will also be tagging along. Hyde is definitely on the list to visit, just not yet sure what day would be best.

If it's just you and your wife, or a small group of 50/50 you should be able to link up with a host for quick entry.
You could hit Marquee on Monday night since you're staying at Cosmo. They have a special line for hotel guests so that would be easy.

Tuesday swing over to Hyde. Get there around 8 or so and have some food and a drink by the fountains. Anthony can set you up with a great table with no minimum during lounge hours. You'll have to give up the table around 10 or so when they're gearing up for their industry night...unless of course you want to buy a bottle or two. Nice thing is, you're already in the club and won't pay cover or deal with lines.

Wednesday night maybe hit up N9NE/Ghostbar for a chill night. Thursday link up with Bobby at Tryst for smooth entry. Friday head over to Stack for dinner then 1OAK. Joey will make sure you get in no problem.

Damn! you guys are thorough but quick with the answers. I love all the help so far. We like Hip-Hop/Top 40 so that's gonna be what we're looking for. Definitely sounds like a good idea with the going to certain places for dinner beforehand if they have that option.

I currently have nothing planned, wife will be there for a conference and an exam on Tuesday so after Tuesday we will be in the celebratory mood. If I get linked up with a host for the smooth entry or the no minimum table during lounge hours do you guys know what the expectation would would be as far as drink minimum or would a healthy handshake for the host suffice?

no idea right now. Only LV club I've been to in the past is Tao. What about you?

About how many people are you looking at? What type of price range are you guys trying to do? Price range etc.? I'll check with the wife and see what days she's open to going out since she is there for a conference after all.
