Going to both of these places when I'm in Vegas in mid-May and haven't been to either of them yet. Going to 1 place Friday and the other Saturday (not sure which one yet). I've heard good things about both places and just wanted to see what I should expect from those who've been to these joints. Thanks.

is there a specific reason you are going to these 2 venues?

Hyde has a great view of the Bellagio fountains and Saturdays are goods there. Lavo has a solid Sunday party.

Never been to Hyde - but I went to Lavo on a Sunday night in June of '11 and it was one of the best Vegas club experiences I've had. Got in with no hassle with a Tao wristband and the club just had a really really fun vibe.

Lavo on Sundays is great. Had a bad experience there on a Friday but we may have gone just too late - went in around 1/130 (had the tao all access wristbands) and it was dead. Went back to Tao after 10 mins
        2016 (past) - none
        2016 (upcoming) - June 10th - 13th. Venetian. Invasion schedule

I'll be in Vegas from April 4th through the 7th with my buddies. We're going all out at Marquee on Friday with BS so I am wondering what are some good options that are cheaper but still a really good time for the other two nights? We're staying at the Cosmo, so relatively close to there.

I like Hyde a lot when it gets warm (which it is now). I love the patio tables right above the lake personally and always get there early to see the water show go off. I like the music, vibe of the club. Sometimes a bit older of a crowd, but usually solid.

I've been to both, thanks to NoahRam & DeX. I like Hyde for it's mix in music (Mick Boogie was DJ'ing that night), but I found it irritating whenever someone bought a bottle (they played "I'm On A Boat") EVERY TIME someone bought a bottle and there was server on a gold boat.

As for Lavo, I went on a Sunday. It took a while for it to get slammed, but DJ Vice was DJ'ing that night. I've always like his style of music (he tends to mix it up). As much as I'm warming up to EDM, it's nice to hear a diverse mix. As well, DJ Vice is a friendly person to chat with.

Mind you, I went to both in November/December.

Oh my....does anyone know if this is normal? We're supposed to be starting the night at Hyde this June and that sounds irritating enough for me to rethink it altogether.
I'm not bitchy, I'm just drawn that way.
